nigerian guys and their egos! u guys should stop getting angry because this is true. if u don't have body/mouth odour u probably know someone else that does. don't trivialize this issue because it is serious and it can be reversed. anyone can have body odour if they don't clean up daily. and i like to believe that a few days of proper hygiene can reverse it. u don't have to be rich, just ensure u wash ur armpits, privates, between ur toes and behind ur ears properly when u bathe. and use a deodorant! u dont need perfume, in fact perfume can't prevent body odour.

i've noticed this body odour thing in both guys and girls but most of the time, like 90% is with guys. i think many guys don't bathe daily. but really it's bad, i don't know if it's because we go to boarding schools or kids don't learn good hygiene at home. but many 9ja guys don't bathe daily they just spray perfume. i have several guy friends that have bad body odour and they dress very well and some are even handsome. the body odour is just a big putoff, especially when it is combined with mouth odour.

it's more annoying to me when i see a guy with body and/or mouth odour hugging/kissing his girlfriend. because i know it must be irritating to the girl, i don't know why girls can't make their guy perform the necessary daily hygiene exercises. it seems the person who has it cannot smell it so they need someone close to them to tell them.

both men and women have "hidden" orifices for "discharges". and they all have potential to be smelly if not taken care of. there really isn't any need to make it men vs. women. this is a serious problem in nigeria that should be tackled. and we shouldn't forget feet smell, which is more common with guys since they were socks and shoes. we need to take special care of all parts of our bodies that can be smelly. i agree with u though that when a woman is dirty she would smell even worse. but that doesnt mean guys can do without bathing daily either.

With your lecture about how to bath and observe proper hygiene I hope you practice that same hygiene on yourself? Because women like you know how to run their mouth, yet their "down there" will be smelling like crayfish, making a brother want to stay away from going "downtown."

women however do smell too.mindfully a tiny fraction too.once had a date with the most amazing looking chick[body wise] a couple of years back in lagos,i met her on the street and so the stench waint perceivable and besides she looked too hot to smell.got her no and arranged a date.our chosen day came and unfortunately it was ralning but thankfully my car was air conditioned and so i went to pick her up.

long story short,worst date of my entire life cos i couldnt breathe and i couldnt wind down either and this girl was so cocky with the attitude like she was prince william's cousin.we went to a chicken licken in surulere and i was just praying no one i knew walked in and saw me standing close to the source of the stench .thankfully the rain kept people away but made my date unbearable and miserable.

guess what.her spoken english was a 9,she went to QC ,her body was like 9.5ish and on the stankometer ,she broke the calibration.

roflmao!!! this is exactly what i was talking about. why are u guys getting so defensive? do u really mean u don't know any guy that has body odour? don't u want him to change? i said i know both guys and girls with body odour. i'm not saying it's something that applies exclusively to guys, just that i know more guys with body odour. probably because everyone talks about how women can be smelly 'down there', many of us girls pay a lot of attention to cleaning. again i'm not saying it's all guys, no one is saying so. no one is pointing fingers at u in particular, if u don't have body odour remember others (male and female) do. why not drop them useful tips here which they wont get from friends in person.

trailing her thoughts and modes of expressing her opinion this is what i think of mama gee. grew up in nigeria and probably onitsha,enugu or aba you know dem parts. probably went to A GOOD BOARDING SCHOOL  most likely all female in  nigeria and not yankee or jand.

she definitely didnt graduate after 97 cos i think she's like 28 and for funny reasons i just feel she went to one of those backyard colleges if she has a higher diploma that is, and finally if she is the one in the picture i will instantly wire 10,000 dollars to her for attempting to be beautiful but i can bet a gazillion dollars she aint the one in the picture. as usual its just my opinion.

there was nothing insulting to guys in my post. i'm just offering advice, anyone here has the choice of taking it or leaving it. btw, i don't think that would be a bad thread if u set it up to offer advice. we would only be offended if u use it as an opportunity to insult girls. it's not easy to tell anyone in person so if girls can come on NL and learn how to take care of their vaginas then i think it's a great thing.
