So far there has only been one implied rape and it was in episode 1.

2 & 3 are more lighthearted and focused on character development.

watched the 3 episodes released ...nothing special so far...typical rpg setting with quests and parties...plot hasn't moved so far

The hype is just from the rape scene at ep1...don't mind those comparing it to berserk cos they are totally different genres...

Berserk is dark fantasy, Goblin slayer is role playing and ecchi

HoTD is something else entirely, the ecchi in Goblin Slayer is in episode 2, we only have 3 episodes so far and it looks like 4 will be a serious episode.
