Nice gambling story but Kaiji is on a whole other level. There is no way you won't get pulled into the screen and be part of the characters in play.
Just like Death Note and Basilisk, it was also made into a movie (Kaiji was played by the Yagami Light guy in Death Note).

Or season 3 where he killed those adventurers that entered nazarick even though they told him they didn't know his tomb was not empty and begged him for their lives or when he killed an entire army In one go.
