Alhaji Abdulmutallab reported his son to the US embassy like they were guardian to his son. What a failure this creature of a father is.
I bet this was to divert attention away from the banking crisis that has seen him removed from office.
If you haven't heard the latest, well the CIA and FBI have summoned him to American embassy to explain himself.

P.S
If you can't control your kids, the CIA will do it for you. . . . nice.

Slowpoke? That word is so grossly abused on this forum .

It is impossible to control the actions of another adult. It is ungracious to hold a father responsible for the actions of a 23 year old son who has been brainwashed by fundamentalists. Muttalab Snr did the right thing. Most Nigerians similarly placed will not make the choice he did. Contrary to mischievous rumours , Muttalab Snr did not try to use the FBI to locate his son. He told them that his son held very strong fundamentalist views .

I don't see how the man deserves anything but praises. He certainly does not deserve ungracious insults.

The proliferation of dumbheads in Nairaland politics section these days is worrying.

Do you know anything at all? Who told you Mutallab was removed from office? And you think reporting your biological son as a security threat to US authorities is a risk worth taking to 'divert' attention from banking crisis? Between banking crisis(a national offence) and security risk( an international offence), which one is more grave and which one would you choose? You seriously need to have your head examined if you believe what you wrote. I'm serious.

But to lecture you, Mutallab was not removed from office. He resigned after clocking seven years and spending ten years as FBN chairman. He has not been mentioned in the banking crisis either.
