its an unconscious discrimination agaisnt dark skin women. Its funny, because most of the people that bring down dark women are DARK MEN. They are dark themselves, yet they despise women with their same complexion. It's self hate. Thats the reason why women bleach their skin.

Everybody needs validation in their life, and if a women feels like shes not recieving that validation due to her skin colour, she'll change it. They're some women who are secure in themselves, and believe they're beautiful regardless. However, most are not, and change their skin to feel more accepted and loved.

I always say that a womans beauty is not based on her skin colour. Ive seen so many unattractive skin/fair women. I'm just being honest. Laura ikeji is one of them. Same with unattractive dark women.

The attractiveness comes from your features. The proportion of your face. How symmetrical your feautures are. So regarless of your skin colour, if you're fine, youre fine. However, its the brainwashed westernized mentality that a lot of men have. So they cant see past a womans skin tone.

Point of correction say Nigerian men and not men. Not all men suffer from inferiority complex. From my experience this is more common with Nigerian men. I remember a thread posted about this Senegalese beauty and a lot of guys were saying she is too dark and one even said she should bleach. It was then I started to understand why Nigeria has such a high record of bleaching. It's all about demand and supply

Are some ladies suffering from low self-esteem or inferiority complex or both? When i travelled to ghana i saw a lot of bevy of pretty ladies with dark and chocolate skin, radiating. They were so proud of their skin, i even made friends with some of them. Here in nigeria it's different, their was one pretty dark skin girl i met. that was in 2012, infact she was my friend sister, when i saw her recently in an event i couldn't recorgnise her, not until she came to meet me, mehn i was really gobsmacked because she has changed completely, and looks like a white albino, please ladies if you are guilty of bleaching your skin, you better stop it now. Black is beautiful, and moreover bleaching your skin won't make you a white woman.
