Green card holders have simply satisfied the requirements to live and work in the USA. That is all.

Citizenship is a whole different set of qualifications and requirements.

A few years ago the British Army carried out a recruitment exercise in friendly commonwealth countries, two of those countries were Ghana and Gambia. Yes they were overwhelmed with interest, not sure why they didn't come to Nigeria , apart from rumours that we placed bottlenecks in the way.

If the USA came to Nigeria to do a recruitment drive, what do you think would happen


Very little interest, or they would be overwhelmed. The ideals of the USA resonate very easily with many Nigerians and particularly from the Christian majority I don't see any conflicting ideologies, apart from maybe national pride.
