Abia state Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu has pledged N1 million reward to anyone who provides useful information that would directly lead to the arrest of Kidnappers in the state.

This is coming at a time when Kidnapping in the state has become so alarming and hue and cry have met the criminal act.

The Governor who made the pledge while speaking at a Press Conference at the Government House Umuahi today, Monday, decried the comeback of kidnapping at a very alarming rate in the state.

Governor Ikpeazu also, pledged one million naira to any police officer or any police team that successfully tracks down any kidnapper or kidnapping team.

Expressing his disgust for the criminal acts and his administration's resolve to clamp down on the criminals, Ipkeazu promised to assist in every way possible to crush Kidnapping in the state.
