Durability. The use in rental buildings is more frequent, as the house pass from tenant to tenant, there is an increased risk of damage because of carelessness. Concrete balustrades withstands the pressure of constant use more than metal or stainless rails which are more suited for private residential buildings.

Not necessarily, some metallic rail designs are more expensive than the concrete balustrade.

There are plans for us to resume this project this month.

Doors, tiles, electrical and plumbing equipment, etc will be fitted very soon.......

We have done wall tiles on the whole kitchens, toilets and bathrooms in this house..........

Well done,.... I think with a good water and moisture resistant paint the upper/untilled part of the wall can be protected.

Good job spyder880, does this building have visitor's toilet? If it does, is it the first small window nearest to the balcony with sewage pipe that ran down to the bottom of the building.?

Yes, this house has a visitor's toilet, the piping is near the balcony.

Well, as you rightly said, its a new addition in the rental offering and most new plans have the extra toilet for visitors because most renters are getting used to it. It can add about N50,000 to the rent of a new house, a few renters will actually decline the offer of a new flat if there's no visitors toilet. The days of allowing visitors get into our private rooms to pee are over.

But still, the use of visitors WC is debatable, there are some homes where the visitors WC might stay unused in many years, it's not everyone who gets many visitors.

We have built and supplied to this site, 80 new wooden doors with keys and handles, we are currently mounting the whole doors. Works to complete the tiling of this house are in progress as we will buy one more trip of sand this week.

We used hard wood, Uku is the local name of the frames we used, we used orji for the inner leaf of the doors. The cost of each door is about N16,500, this comprises of;

Door frames
Door
Keys and handles
Hinges
Cost of transportation
Cost of hanging the doors
