tifany89:I understand. I've never said all Yoruba people are angels...but are we going to attack like we don't attack them on here as well. Since the war, all we've been calling them are cowards, slaves, etc...heck we go to their lands and claim it is "no man's land". Look into yourself and ask if that is right?? Be honest man. Ipob don't want to be diplomatic.. they're trying to be too forceful which is why I have not a single shred of respect for them. They are a political tool in the hands of pdp. Simple. 2 Likes |

edi879:Leave Ipob alone to do what they have to do. Atleast they are doing something and you will agree with me dat something needs to be done. what have you done? I don't care about Lagos but why are they always shouting Lagos forgetting that Lagos was developed with everybody's sweat. It was a Nigeria project. The North knew this dat was why they shifted the capital to Abuja for no just cause. It was a joint effort and now they want to claim it as only theirs, truth is things don't work that way. Nobody is disputing the fact that Lagos is in the west but we know what federal presence can do to transform a state. Take Abuja for example. If they are so good at transformation why aren't Ekiti,Oyo,Osun etc in the same league with Lagos? Do u v any satisfactory answer? As for the insult part leave dat out coz Yorubas use more worse terms Dan dat on the Igbos so it's tit for tats. Osu,Igbo, etc sound familiar to you? |

seniorkachion: Why do you people always think diversity and the fact that we welcome all is a negative for us when in fact it's an advantage for us and a negative for you. For clueless people like you, it's called brain drain, a gross negative for you because this is a public official from your village who instead of contributing to the development of your village is in Lagos contributing to the development of Lagos state, he's also paying taxes for the development of Lagos state and not to your village and this is the brain drain that's responsible for your lack of development and progress. Look at all the welcoming places all over the world where people run to like Europe and America, immigrant labor and entrepreneurship developed these societies and the immigrants are part of the societies contributing their quotas but do you see any section of the immigrants claiming these societies belong to them? In fact, we on our own appointed folks from your village to serve and contribute, people like uncle Ben Akabueze and uncle Joe. Ben Akabueze was hired by Tinubu as a commissioner and kept on by Fashola and again sent to Abuja by Tinubu to represent Lagos at the federal level. What you hateful and mean spirited people think is a disadvantage and a negative is really a plus and advantage for us, this is why we are better and greater than you. You can not eat with your hands closed. 6 Likes |

deomelo: Its called exploitation and capital repatriation. He is our pro consul to the west. He will pay all his annual and development dues to his village from the income he has earned as legislator. There was nothing to do with diversity. It is just voter power. |

tifany89:Of course it's a joint effort, but that doesn't mean you go to their land and call it a no man's land. It is disrespectful, simple as that. As for ekiti, oyo, osun, yeah they aren't in the same league as Lagos, but fact remains that SW as a whole has achieved much more than we have. This is the truth. Make no mistake about it - no place in nigeria I'd perfect. Nigeria is a shithole...I've said it time and time again and will never stop saying it. IPOB trying to wash their hands off it and pretend igbos have played a role in the problems we face as a nation is pure nonsense. Fiscal federalism is the way forward...get that first and if it isn't good enough, then we can all scream Biafra. Till then, IPOB is a joke and rightly so. Bleep those arrogant morons. Another thing I'll never stop saying. 3 Likes |

seniorkachion: How do you repatriate capital when we are collecting taxes from you and developing with your taxes.? How much is your IGR and budget against Lagos? The largest budget in ibo land is anambra with N110 while Lagos is N800 billion so what capital are you talking about? Your states are poor and it's because you have little productivity and productive force to generate the capital needed for your development. All your able and productive force are in other parts of Nigeria developing other parts of Nigeria with their earnings and labor including taxes. Capital ko, country ni. You people are so slow and no wonder you are so backward. 5 Likes |

Yari.ba are by nature, hero worshippers. They have managed to create their demigod in Awolowo. Only in Yoruba land that shrine’s hand will become Kabiyiesi . It sounds very silly to listen to Yoruba peeps talk about free-educational program in the defunct western region of Nigeria. They woefully forgot that the defunct eastern region of Nigeria had equally opened free-educational program at the same time as did western region. However, the insatiable hunger for education in the defunct eastern region was 100 times greater than western region which almost bankrupted eastern region. There was a time the quest for education in the defunct western region of Nigeria was comparable to defunct northern region of Nigeria. |

That is the question that you should answer from your investigation that you already made before you said that she visited MKO in prison. Thanks |

edi879:What most of you don't know is dat freedom is not given it is taken. Who will give u fiscal federalism? U think dey will restructure this country just because u say so? Ever heard of Aburi Accord? What happened to the agreements reached in that Accord. Ipob are even good because they are relatively peaceful and I think that is why they are not been taken serious. Remember Niger Delta militants? Boko haram? Are u aware the government had to negotiate with them? These are some of the problems with this country. And as for the West how have they achieved more than the East? Don't just make bogus claims, be factual. Despite the fact that they v benefited more in terms of federal presence and allocations. Why do u think dey v refused to build a seaport in the East? Is it not embarrassing that if u want to travel out u will first have to go to Lagos? These are some of the injustice being meted out to the Igbos and if u r too blind to see dat den sorry I can't help you. Have u even been to the East? Where do u live? Am amazed at ur dispositions towards the East, are u really sure u r an Nwa-afor |

tifany89: There are two quick lies in your comments; (1) The River in Calabar and Niger River are too shallow for Ships and Cargoes coming from overseas to berth there. (2) Abuja is the preferred route to travel overseas and not Lagos. The flight from Abuja can have as much as $400 difference from that of Lagos. So, Abuja is much more patronized than Lagos for Air traveling; unless of course if you're so Anti-Yoruba that you believe all the lies you're being fed with daily. |

Nwakaumu: the truth could be bitter and its the lack of truth that has kept us were we are today in this country.. What u have just said though bitter, is nothing but the gospel truth... I still dont understand why igbos and yorubas who naturally share similar cultural and social values use whatever opportunity to undermine themselves.. Its so shameless.. No wonder the north would always rule over them and treat them like thrash.. |
