If the Oba of Lagos says you are mentally unstable, does that mean you are mentally unstable? Do you think Lagos in the Oba's context is all of Lagos state?

Your problem is not that you're ignorant but you think ignorance is a talent

It's you people that will still abuse them if Lagos has no investment or development in record. Hate a little nah

Still not impressive.

The United States is the world’s largest recipient of foreign direct investment (FDI), according to a recent report released by the U.S. Department of Commerce. California, just one State, attracted the most investments of all the states—$119 billion, or 28 percent of the total.

The State of Maharashtrah in India got EUR 9.65 billion of FDI in just the first six months of the last financial year (2016)

$4 Billion accumulated over 15 years is nothing to shout about.

You can't even come up with a decent analogy... The Oba of Lagos is the owner and Custodian of Lagos. He is an authority on Lagos issues. If you have any issue with what he said, just go to the palace and tell him to change his comment.

Not sure if your statistics is accurate about dangote owing 90%. As a reminder, indomie just buy off dangote noddles factory at ikorodu.

Nice one, 90% of those investment are own by dangote. 10% tinubu. Dangote taking monopoly over the nigerian economy since 18BC

Now I get your problem. Your position is firmly rooted in Ignorance.

Are you aware that Lagos state consists of several kingdoms: Epe, Ikorodu, Badagry?
Are you also aware that the influence of the Oba of Lagos doesn't extend to Ikorodu, Epe and Badagry?
Are you aware that the Oba of Lagos is not a traditional holder of land?

Mr Oga listen when someone knowledgeable is educating you. Lagos Island is different from Lagos State.

Lagos Island is Idumota, Marina, Isale Eko axis. The rest of Lagos was part of the Old western region.

Besides is the Oba of Lagos not Awori are Aworis not Yorubas. So better don't kill yourself untop Yoruba matter. He only said that as an excuse for not greeting the Ooni of Ife.

When they say Oba of Lagos it actually means Oba of Lagos Island not Oba of Lagos state.

There are other kings in Epe,Ikorodu,Ajah,Ipaja, Ikate Elegushi etc that aren't under the Oba of Lagos.

Is this really good?..... how is this really beneficial to the city?...the state or country? What really do they mean by a Free Trade Zone? Let's reason...or we may be putting a noose around our necks and don't even know. As I understand it..... a Free Zone is an area where these foreign companies can set up their businesses... mainly factories and do not have to abide by the laws of that country...Free Zone. They don't have to pay taxes on their products.... will pay workers slave wages and have them under tight security. For factories... they will pollute the air, pollute the environment. . dump their toxic waste wherever... and cannot be held responsible or liable. This in turn will cause severe health problems in the communities and we know how great are our medical facilities. Why aren't Free Zones set up in the US or any progressive country?...always in countries where cheap labour can be exploited and the government willing to have its citizen exploited. Mexico had a Free Zone... when the heat was too much and the Mexicans start protesting... the companies pulled out. .. finding cheaper areas... so they are leaving somewhere else since they find Lagos cheaper and welcoming. In 10 years time...hope we would be smiling as we wear our masks and hold umbrella to shelter from toxic rain....but for now...let's boast and beat our chests about what ehmmm....we ...would be producing (for them)

I am not even too sure if the Oba made such statement, but if he did am sure he only said so to make excuse for not greeting the Ooni.

The Oba himself is Awori and speaks Yoruba. Aworis are decendants of Olofin, they migrated from Ife to Lagos.I doubt if he can even speak one word in Benin.

There are many FTZs in China and other developing countries. It is a very good strategy to attract investments.
