U are right , u didn't add that the northern have one thing that will never lose value , other region have oil, and oil is one thing that bring about climate damage . the world is moving away from oil and moving fully into renewable energy that is why the price of oil will keep coming down. Soon , States with oil will have no one to buy their oil.
