Some tribal marks are too much naaaa..the concealing is usually done for an eventful day like wedding...just to make pictures come out great

i very much doubt any parent of today go gree mark im pickin for face like dat.even yorubas and hausas who are known to carry heavy tribal marks u dey see any of such among their young ones? everybody don open eye .

I think asides tradition, some are done for protection purposes....i once saw a very terrible looking mark on a lady's face...she said her parents said anytime they have a child, the child eventually dies on the second birthday...she said she was her parent's 6th attempt at having just a child....she had to go tru rituals that involve disfiguring her face...supposedly to make her untouchable by the evil covenant spirit that comes to take her away whenever she clocks 2yrs old.....im just cool about it now....biliv me...I had nightmares first time I heard that horrible jist
