OP, I am 168 to 169cm in height and weight 55kg, age 30 years old. Am I underweight? I have been trying to increase my weight for a while now but nothing. I do eat. Someone told me to go and get married, that I will increase in weight.

Your current BMI is 23.8 which is okay. 60kg won't be a bad idea too as your BMI would be 22.

For BMI, 18.5-25 is the normal weight range.

Kg divided by height times height thats kg/m × m = kg/m2

Since u know its simple maths, u/the op, shld hv said mass divided by area. Area is m2 not length. #simplemaths but u n op fuckin up. Thank u, dont mention.

If your info is correct, your BMI is around 22.7. You need to do the calculation correctly.

He does all this and still underweight yet u said he is fine. Aren't u contradicting urself. If one has no health issues and underweight or skinny he is perfectly ok.

so what's my height in metres .... even d height sef is a guess work .. my close friend is 5ft 7inch tall and i dey reach am for shoulder so i just permutate ... well i actually want to gain more weight n bounce when walking sha.... lol

I have a bmi of 18.35 but I'm still very healthy. I don't totally buy this.

how did you know is unreliable, and for your information before anything goes on my blog i do the research, as a medical physiologist i know for a fact that below a certain weight limit is dangerous for ones health

Since when did foreign health websites publish fake and unreliable health articles...the human body hasnt changed in the last 50 years...so no one can fake that.

Not really...it just made me fresher.

What eventually worked for me was blended Cucumber and Banana...I blend 100 naira Cucumber, and about 10-12 pieces of banana, and drink it once a day.

I was seriously sick earlier this year...when I recovered, someone recommended that I start blending fruits and vegetables for easy digestion. I bought a Binatone blender for 18k and started blending fruits and vegetables to take once a day. Banana and Cucumber happened to be my favorite blend, so I stuck with that. And after about 6 weeks, I saw I had gained weight...I was weighing way more than I had weighed in the last ten years. I would say I gained 6kg within 4 weeks.

When I checked my weight from those aboki's that walk around with scale, I thought his scale was faulty when I saw 70kg...when normally I weigh 64kg. So, when I got to the pharmacy I was headed to, I checked again, and it was the same 70 kg. The only different thing in my diet was the blending of fruits and vegetables, so I did some research and saw how Banana is good for weight gain. I guess what makes blending the banana even better is because, it is easier to take 10-12 pieces of banana in liquid form than chewing ten pieces of banana.

About taking it twice a day, I never really did that, but I know taking it once a day, constantly will give you good results.
