Dear future hubby,
I have been searching for you everywhere, before
i find you i want you to know that am not perfect,
the worst two minutes of my life was when i tried
being perfect. I am not looking for perfect, i want
to accept your flaws and you mine
Baby, you are the one i want on my honeymoon
bed we will stuff turkey, we will marinate it, stuff
it less and stuff it more, add pepper and make it
hooot, stuff it your way, stuff it my way, stuff it
our way. Lets make kids, you want two? i want
four, lets make three then
Baby, i have a job, but this will not stop me from
my wifely duties, i will be coming home from
work to prepare us dinner, iron your shirt, help
the kids with their homework, breastfeed our
lastborn. I know i wont even pee in peace before
hearing the kids shouting, 'mama where are you?'
but am not complaining, exhaustion from your
beautiful lives will be the best gift ever
My love, at times we will fight, about parenting
and financial decisions, about you spoiling the
kids with candys, about big issues and small
stupid issues, but we will sort our issues, not in
our bedroom, in a park, or when we are taking
our evening walks, or in a restaurant. Our
bedroom will be only for stuffing turkey
My saddest imagination, is when the kids will
finally grow.They will leave us to go and start
their own lives and these are the days that i will
need you the most, To hold my hand tight not to
run after our eldest son when he leaves home, to
hug me and whisper 'he's going to be okay' when
our second son leaves for his studies abroad, to
wipe my tears when our last daughter walks down
the isle to start her own family
We will drive home in silence, rest my head on
your chest as we relax on the coach our hands
tightly holding each other. I will be thinking of the
emptyness in the house without our kids, and you
will be thinking, ' i made it in all the marriage
phases with this beautiful woman' We will not talk
to each other for hours each one lost in their
thoughts, but silence is okay as long as we have
each other
Baby, i can write to infinity, but i have to rush to
the salon now,maybe i'll meet you on my way to
or from the salon, who knows where and when i'll
finally meet you?
