Who would have accused an Ijaw president who worked to better his people especially as we know most of our exports come from there?

In addition, was it also because people would talk that he didn't provide any meaningful infrastructure as governor of Bayelsa State?

There is no disputing the fact that the Southeast is the bastion of Jonathanian support and hero-worship, even more than Jonathan's own Niger Delta constituency.
Yet it remains the least beneficiary, both in terms of Jonathan lacklustre achievement and his legacy of theft and plunder.
Achievement wise, it walked away with nothing. It didn't even get the Second Niger Bridge it was promised. And the bulk of Jonathan's scarce interventions are situated in the north and southwest, Jonathan's opposition strongholds.
Not to be underrepresented once, the Southeast is also the least beneficiary of Jonathanian corruption. So far, most of the high-end beneficiaries are northerners, southwesterners and Jonathan's Niger Delta kins. The Tompolos, Akpobolemis, Badehs, Dasukis, Amosuns, Okes, et cetera.
Ensconced in the realization that the Southeast has bought his 'Azikiwe' dupe and have proved to be more Jonathanian than the Ijaws, Jonathan didn't even bother to campaign or perform there. The Jonathanian dollar largesse was taken to the palaces of Yoruba Obas and Arewa emirs alone.
The Jonathan-Southeast affair is rich in both irony and drama and I can't imagine a political relationship that is more one-sided, more unrewarding and self-annihilating.

seems south south people are open to theirselves in reality not like Igbo who deceive theirselves. despite knowing the fact this man failed southern Nigeria in particular, they are still supporting him, that shows how backwardness that region was

Have noticed one thing about Nigerians, they don't have direction, they swing their mouth to anywhere the wing direct them.

Just imagine dickson saying Jonathan presidency was a waste and thise with no brain are supporting him.

He wasn't elected to govern the Ijaws alone, he was the president of Nigeria.

I want those posting trash to compare Jonathan era with this current administration and nobody should mention anything about oil price or whatever here cos obasanjo was there, there were many heads of state before Jonathan and there was nothing wrong with oil price then.

Now, compare your present situation to during Jonathan era, some dumb head will say it only appears on paper, it only appears on paper yet you weren't complaining as you're complaining now right?

I blame our educational system, it is really doing a lot of harm to the youth, it is just la cram la pour. Why won't the country remain this way?

I marvel when some people call Jonathan their hero. You then begin to wonder, hero in what- looting, inertia, deception, corruption, cluelessness, lack of idea, lack of balls, indecision, stupidity?

No Igbo man can point to what Jonathan did for them in 6 years in South East, No Yoruba man can point to what he did for South West In almost 6 years, No South South person can point to what he did in six years, No northerner can point to what he achieved from beginning to end in 6 years. What then makes him an hero? Is it the sheepish smiles or what?

That said, what exactly has this man achieved for his own people? I hardly see pictures of him cuting any tapes anywhere.
