Confused grandpa!
“I don’t believe in Bola’s (Tinubu) concept of politics. Their concept of operation in the APC is different from the way I was brought up. A tree cannot make a forest. That is the difference between us. Let us collectively take up the mantle, not Godfather kind of politics.”

YET
Bode-George also commended the governor of Lagos state, Akinwunmi Ambode for the great job he was doing in Lagos state.

He said, “This young man (Governor Akinwunmi Ambode) is doing a great job in Lagos and I am impressed. I went round recently and passed through Epe while going to Ondo State. I passed through the route several times as a governor of old Ondo State in 1990.

So indirectly he is saying Godfatherism when implemented properly actually delivers positive growth grin grin grin grin

Tinubu is corrupt, very corrupt.
He is a big thief

Before you can talk, you should be in political position. It is only Tinubu that got the money and invested it in Nigeria. All others buried theirs or take it away. All of them are the same but I think Tinubu is better than most of them because he was charged and acquited when he was a torn to pdp. Unfortunately many tagged him corrupt after he was against Jonathan, 8years after leaving office. Hypocrite

itsdumebi:
PDP chieftain, Chief Olabode George has given reasons for his refusal to work with APC national leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The Former deputy national chairman of the PDP stated that he will never work with Tinubu because of his "Godfather kind of politics".

In an interview with Punch, George said;

“I don’t believe in Bola’s (Tinubu) concept of politics. Their concept of operation in the APC is different from the way I was brought up. A tree cannot make a forest. That is the difference between us. Let us collectively take up the mantle, not Godfather kind of politics.”

“ I was stupefied by what I saw. He is opening up the ancient villages with good road network and the quality of the road is amazing. Within two years, Ambode has outperformed Babatunde Fashola and Tinubu combined, in terms of infrastructural development, maybe because he is from the civil service.He is better than both of them with his achievements. But I can convince our people that when we settle the PDP crisis, we will present somebody who would be hundred times better than Ambode.”

True to that. In 8 Years, Lagos will beg Ambode to continue for a third-term. His construction projects are global standard.

Why do Ndi'Igbo still believe the false stereotype that the omo Oduduwa (Yoruba) are cowards? In the history of Nigeria, only two men have returned to Nigeria to face almost certain death even when they had the option of a very comfortable political asylum abroad. Both of them are Yoruba. In 1985, General
Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida toppled the Buhari regime while Major General Tunde Idiagbon (mixed Yoruba/Fulani) was at Mecca yet Idiagbon returned. In 1995,
Olusegun Obasanjo (pure Owu Yoruba) was accused of planning a coup by the blood thirsty tyrant, Abacha (if you don't like the truthful description of Abacha you can go and join him where he is) while he was away in Copenhagen. He returned to face almost certain death. I admired Ojukwu, but I was disappointed that he fled. I wish he remained. I also admired Azikiwe, but Awolowo would NEVER abandon his people as Azikiwe did when he defected to the federal side during the civil war. Awolowo was in prison because of his people and he could have been released had he compromised his beliefs but he stoutly refused. That is courage not cowardice. I have been in direct communication with Gowon whom I admire but he did not return after he was accused of being behind the Dimka coup. Obasanjo and Idiagbon are probably the bravest Nigerians ever. They are certainly braver than Murtala Mohammed who was safely in London waiting for Joseph Garba and co to topple Gowon. The stereotype of Yorubas as cowards is false. Every ethnicity has cowards and brave men.
