The Spanish economy has always been crap, with their socialist leanings. Most of Europe is crap right now anyway, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal.
I intend to buy a house in Seville and be on permanent holiday. I don't plan on going there to hustle. I'm already hustling somewhere

Have you considered were the value of that house might stand in the next 10 years? Given the fact that Spain is not geting any bailout this time.

Seriously, I am looking at somewhere with interesting weather, plus lots of diversions, and in a sane part of the world, to retire.
I have visited the South of Spain a couple of times, and I think it's a great place to live and relax, after a life of hustle.

Beautiful, but quite rough, and frigging expensive. Hotel rooms go for $800 on average for the cheapest rooms.

I also like Cape Town, SA. If I don't get to buy a place in South of Spain, then CT would be a good choice. Also great weather.

I know miami is a big city but it should have the cool and tranquilly that is found in places like Hawaii and the carribean.

I will like to live and retire somewhere in Africa, possibly West Africa.

Somewhere in the middle east iA. I've got my eyes on Kuwait, Qatar. But I've got to work on myself first.
I'm off - back to my books.

Somewhere like Harrow or something. I can't do south London. ( it depends on the area)
Work in NHS for a few years. I reckon a few years (5 years max)
Simply for the experience is all. Travel all over Europe in the process as well. Was gonna do it a while back but I chickened out.
