James Ikechukwu Esomugha, popularly known as Jim Iyke, is a Nigerian actor in Nigeria’s movie industry (popularly called Nollywood) In some quarters he is likened to be the Nollywood’s answer to Hollywood’s Will Smith. The envy of all all women and the crush of all ladies, with a lot of swag that will make Nicky grow green with envy. As it stands today, Jim seems to be rolling with the movers and shakers of the Nigeria’s political space. Our investigation shows that he has been hanging out with Nigeria’s Dino and in the other picture with political stakeholders from the east.

Like other actors that have left the stage for politics, Jim might have an eye in the corridors of power. With these high net worth individuals he has been seen with lately. What we can’t ascertain is the political platform he will be on. As an Igbo, we haven’t seen his position on the recent Biafra agitation and secession, like other entertainers from the Eastern Nigeria. Though, some have identified with the cause, while a whole lot of others are not talking. Lately, we have seen the verbal tirade between Fani Kayode, former minister of aviation, showing his displeasure on Kate Henshaw’s Biafra map,which the screen diva didn’t even take a note of.

Now, we this kind of statement, we can confidently say that the stage has been set, politically, and the contacts made. What we cannot ascertain as of this time , is the political platform. 2019 is around the corner and we await Jim to make the announcement, hopefully.
