I discovered I am too engrossed with my phone; I am always with it , sometimes I even go into the toilet with it. This isn't right, please help people... Please.. Thanks

It depends on what you are doing with the phone.

I'm either browsing Nairaland, or looking for who to chat with, or browsing something on Google ; or watching porn with it...

Try engrossing yourself in other realistic activities like reading books, praying, sleeping etc. It should help reduce your addiction.

I remember some years back when I was so free and didn't have so many responsibilities.. I even took my laptop to the toilet with me..

But as I became more mature and engrossed in responsibilities.. Discipline cleared everything up...

Discipline yourself.. Tell yourself that you wouldn't take your phone in.. Drop it on the shelf and walk into the bathroom, stop thinking about the messages and the things happening while you are without your phone.. Just do what you came to do in the bathroom.. Don't just stand there and fantasize.... Try it for a week and you will be able to get there.

Simple, next time you enter the toilet with your phone, Just drop it in!................ Thank me later
