If our youths from all sides know what we went through in 1967 and even off recent boko haram they would have find a better way to use their energy. It's not easy when it comes to war. It knows no religion or ethnicity. The pains of war can better be imagine than real. I hope the elder of these youths should call them to order. We should not allow these youths to lead us to war with their reckless behavior and high sounding grammar that will come to nothing when the first shot is released. Nigerians are very good in citing events that they don't understand the foundation.

No right thinking igbo man should take this warning for granted.

Relocate and invest back in the east!

Come sef, why do igbo find it hard to invest in their place??
Flat.hads can't invest and develop their homes because of many reasons- SE is a landlocked, marginallised, godforsakn-gully-eroded land.

Their part is the Hell side of Niger.

its very indeed sad to see Nigerians like this, this is sign that the world is only a temporary place to be, make peace with God and have etenal life, if this get though for you in this present life, know that there is perfect home were God has promise to give whoever keep his commandments.

the Christian song writer name " casting crown " said in the song title " city on the hill"

Did you hear of the city on the hill
Said one old man to the other
It once shined bright, and it would be shining still
But they all started turning on each other.......
Each one thought that they knew better
But they were different by design
Instead of standing strong together
They let their differences divide
And one by one, they ran away
With their made up minds to leave it all behind
And the light began to fade
In the City on the Hill, the City on the Hill

but who told u they dont invest in their area? Have u gone to the east? So, there are no individual businesses running successfully there owned by igbos?

Are all in the US, Americans? Get small sense na! Biafra doenst mean, the people with Biafra cant do business with others.. what will change is resource management and end of unnecessary protocol involved in Abuja and Lagos before getting things done in their region.

U may not know the negative effects of having embassies in Abuja and Lagos, having HQ of firms in Lagos and Abuja, having govt agencies HQ in Abuja and Lagos.. u may not know.. it is well..

religion...let live together in unity.

Forget the pledge, that's the rubbish they keep given D youths to eat while dey do their thing. Did D pledge not say we should be FAITHFUL, LOYAL & HONEST? I ask, which of these criminals is honest. Which one came to serve Nigeria? Instead they came to serve the money dat enters their pocket. D politicians are D ones dat first divided D country.

Chill, let it start talkless of finishing. If there is a war today and the western world don't side any party, the Igbos I know of will make light work of any challenger. Modern wars are fought with technology and the Igbos are blessed with creativity. The company currently servicing the Nigerian Airforce is based in Nnewi, Anambra State.

I said to serve Nigeria is not by force. That's because I never trusted this country. The national pledge was forced on all of us.

[quote author=chie8 post=57376603]In what appears to be an indirect reaction to the call made by Arewa Youths for Igbos to leave the northern part of Nigeria and the continuous call by Biafrans to separate from Nigeria, popular pastor Bishop Dr Sam Zuga and General Abdulsalam Abubakar met and had a discussion on the issues.Obviously both are against Arewa Youths' quit notice and Biafran agitation. During their discussion on peace strategies, they said...

'What we need in this country is to do what we told God to help us to do. "ONE NATION,PEACE AND UNITY " not Biafra agitation and Arewa quit notice'.

Speaking further,Bishop Zuga said.....

'BEFORE YOU BREAK UP NIGERIA, YOU MUST CHANGE NATIONAL PLEDGE.

I pledge to Nigeria my country, to be FAITHFUL, LOYAL AND HONEST. to serve Nigeria with all my strength. TO DEFEND HER UNITY.SO HELP ME GOD. If you once said this in primary school, you can not divide Nigeria. You must not go free when you are not loyal and honest. Because you told God to help you when you are about to violate your pledge. You promised to defend the unity of Nigeria and so shall it be. Everybody should go and do something better. Break up is not possible for now. Behold the Nigerian peace ambassadors. We must achieve the desired peace'

God will not forgive this yeye pastor..

Abdulsalami is the greatest, silent thief Nigeria has.He packed a lot of Abacha's loot and quietly handed over to a democratic president. He's one of the richest in Nigeria but people don't know.

If D government can give these youths jobs. The youths have taken social media as their job & I bet U, they will use this new tool to drag Nigeria to her end.

Living is difficult in east compared to other parts of the country, no federal infrastructures like air and sea ports, no embassies, federal MDA's are dysfunctional or non-existence etc need I say more. All these are parts of the reasons they are asking for a break-up. As soon as one crosses the Niger bridge, it's like one has left Nigeria

Since they hate how we've developed their land for them we will see if they can help themselves out.

Re: Abdulsalami Abubakar Reacts To Quit Notice Given To Igbos By Arewa Youths by Duru1(m): 12:30pm On Jun 10, 2017
The so-called quit notice is moronic as the people who issued it. As of now, no section of the cesspit called Nigeria has the authority to ask fellow Nigerians to vacate their places of abode. Even if Biafra is actualized tomorrow, both Biafrans and Nigerians or any other nation state can order the nationals of another country to vacate without diplomatic consequences. Therefore the so-called quit notice from the so-called Arewa Youth is a ranting of ants.

Lol... Lemme educate you about the Ibo man's pride. It is not directed towards people outside his village or kinsmen, that an Ibo man/woman built a house in Lagos is not to oppress nor offend the Yoruba man but to show his people in his hometown that he is making it in Lagos. That's y they travel to the east during festive periods to tell tales of life in the city. This mentality can be explained using the Osu caste system of class in Ibo culture. Ibos value and respects wealth. Read "things fall apart" by Dr. Chinua Achebe (Chukwu bless his soul) to know more

You Igbos have a history of starting problems you cant finish. When Nnamdi Kanu was calling Nigeria a zoo and every other tribe animals, how many Igbo elders stood against him?

Now the continuous tribal insults has annoyed the Hausas who are known for being quick to anger and you are still looking for a way to drag other tribes into it when the poop is smelling on your own bodies.

Nnamdi Kanu is the cause all of these nonsense. You people are very stupid and full of hate. You insult your hosts whenever you thrive in their land. Eze Ndigbo of Kano, of Ibadan of this of that and yet you cannot allow such in your region. Your problem is greed and hate.

And you are not different. Our culture and ur culture is not the same, even if we give any of our kinsmen Eze Ndigbo of Aso-rock thats non of ur business. Did we complain of their Quit Notice. We are waiting for October 1st. Your problem is hypocrisy. Probably you are an Afonja. Everybody should go back to their lands.

Young man, men of strength talk tough. People with capabilities are always labelled arrogant, but they should be. Watch news and see how powerful countries talk. The president of the US and PM of Isreal will always tell you to your faces that there are consequences. If you like, go and cower under your bed and be talking humility. You don't know what it means self
