Unfortunately you aren't making any sense here. Even the post shows reference to the Yoruba Nation yet we haven't issued ultimatums.

Why are Hausa the most pained in this whole issue?

Who gives a damn about whoever gives ultimatum or not. No one is also interested in who is pained or not pained.

What is important here is that the northerners are tired of the endless insults from you and your ilks hence the quit notice.

Simply pack and forget stories.

IGBOS WILL NOT LEAVE ANYWHERE!
NIGERIA BELONGS TO ALL OF US.

Even in the event of separation of Nigeria (which I know is impossible), they simply become business people in a foreign Land just as you have Chinese etc.
I believe in ONE Nation under God. Nigeria is not too big, if not China, India that each have more than 1 billion citizens would have been progressing. America is far more populated than Nigeria and even with diverse languages and nationalities. Yet they didn't divide with their 50 states. We just have 36 states and we want to devise.
If you are waiting for Nigeria to divide, then you will wait till eternity.

Do you know of any Chinese in Nigeria without a valid visa?

OmaniPadmeHum:
The irony of the Biafra Agitation.

You want Biafra. They chase you out of Nigeria. Instead of siezing the opportunity to go back home enmass, you say you are not going anywhere. I expect great jubilation and joyous celebrations. I expect mass movement. I expect the Ghana Must Go scene which I witnessed. Truck loads of Ghanaians, moving out. With Jute bags which became nicknamed "Ghana-Must-Go" bag.

If you want Biafra all you need do is go back to the East enmass. Refuse to trade with Nigeria. Refuse to have anything to do with Nigeria. When you are going back, no policeman or soldier will say "why are you travelling"? Freedom of movement to your states of origin is a fundamental Human Right. In my opinion. No one is holding you back but yourselves.

It doesn't even matter if a few of your elders are in the service of Nigeria as appointees etc. Ignore them. Build your Biafra, when it is as rossy as you claim it will be, they will have no choice but to go back to their dear Biafra.

So for all intents and purposes, this is the opportunity you have been praying for. Leave the North. Go back home. Build your utopia. Boycott everything Nigerian.
Biafra is being given to you on a platter of gold. Your leaders are saying they are not going anywhere and daring the North to attack them. Be united in purpose and be ready to go through the "pain" and "surgery" of achieving a good and perfect Biafra. This pain will involve leaving your businesses, property, etc. But it is for a good cause. Child bearing comes with some pain. The birthing of Biafra will not come without sacrifices.

Nnamdi Kanu says Nigeria will beg Biafra to go. The North has told you to go. So take the opputunity to do so. If Nigeria does not let you leave you will blame all your troubles on Nigeria. It is for this reason alone, that I support Biafra. Everyone needs the opportunity to take the chance and go the distance. So sieze the chance. You have been given till October. The distance between the major parts of the North and the East is generally less than 24 hours by road. I should expect a great jubilation when the North asked you to vacate without a gun shot. I expect a great exodus. Your leaders should come together and choose a course of action.

If you understand strategy you should take this golden opportunity. Pharaoh as asked the Jews to leave Egypt. What are the Jews still waiting for? They now refuse to go to the promised land. There is no red sea in this story. The promised land is known and available. No need for scouts and no need to traverse the deserts. Again I am expecting a great exodus. A huge one. When citizens of another country are not wanted anymore they are expelled. You are Biafrans and Nigeria has expelled you. So go back to your Biafra and gladly do so.

If this opportunity is not taken, then the Biafra matter is just that of a people trying to constitute a nuisance, disunited in purpose and annoyingly empty in character. Biafra has come, take it and stop the indecision. Stop worrying about what you will loose. These are necessary. South Sudan lost a lot after the referendum including the rights to pump it's oil through pipelines that go through Sudan to the export terminals. They had to negotiate the fees/cost of pumping South Sudan's Oil.The South Sudanese did not bother about their property in Khartoum. Theirs was even worse. They were never told to go, the way the North has peacefully ordered Biafrans to do. This is a once in a life time opputunity. Take it.

Do not start wondering what will happen to your investments. To your market of about 150 million Nigerians. Your perhaps about 40-60 million Biafrans are available (we do not know your true population figures). Trade with them and find new international trade partners. Do not start bothering about what will become of Lekki, or Festac, or Ikeja, or Ikorodu, or Abuja or other areas you "developed". In my opinion, only a foolish man develops another man's land and leaves his own and then he even boasts about this to the world about this great mistake and miscalculation. It is when you have developed yours to your satisfaction that you then extend your good developmental gestures to other "less fortunate people".

Unite in purpose. Buhari is not even in the country. Osinbanjo is more reasonable. Take the chance. Move ensmass. Exodus out of all parts of Nigeria. Move back home. Organize yourselves. Ignore everything in Nigeria. This opportunity will never come again. You are putting your hope in ICJ and UN etc. Time and time again, these organizations have stood by and watched endless maacascre of innocent civilians. Syria, South Sudan etc. Even the Nigeria/Biafra Civil War.

You claim you have all the businesses. You can cripple Nigeria. Nigeria is a zoo. Your footballers are the best. Your women are the best. You are the most industrous. You are the most brilliant. You are the most hard working. You are the most advanced. Your exodus alone should then help you win this agitation. So, cripple Nigeria by leaving. Destroy Nigeria by removing all your services. Obliterate Nigeria by withdrawing your elite. Stall Nigeria's evolution of her human gene pool by taking back your pretty light complexioned igbo girls. In fact go back home and lock your shops again. This time, lock them for good. It has come to you easier than you imagined. The next time you are coming to Nigeria, do so with the ECOWAS Passport or a Biafran passport. Pay the Nigerian Visa Fees and go through the process. Refuse to enter Nigeria with a Visa. Yes, if Nigerians say come in, you say "no,that will be illegal since I am an allien. Could you please grant me papers"? If they refuse you go back to Biafra.

The struggle has moved from opening fake propaganda online and lying about how Asari supplies weapons and how Donald Trump warned Buhari. It is this same lies and fake propaganda that contributed to the loss of the Civil War. People hardly knew the facts from fiction and leaders couldn't make rational and calculated decisions. The struggle is now beyond propaganda my dear Biafrans. It has come and stares you in the face. It is real now and no more mere rantings on the internet and other forms/means of mass media and mass communication. Take it the opportunity. It has materialized. I mean see the news in the Zoo city of Lagos. Animals are even treated better than Zoo Animals, Nigerians.

BIAFRA HAS COME. TAKE IT!

•Osinbajo sues for peace •IPOB backs quit notice
Our correspondents

The Eze N’digbo (traditional rulers) and leaders of Igbo socio-cultural associations in the North have vowed to resist any attempt by the Coalition of Northern Groups to chase them out of the region.

The coalition groups are: Arewa Citizens Action for Change, led by Nastura Ashir Sharif; Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, led by Shettima Yerima; Arewa Youth Development Foundation, led by Aminu Adam; and the Arewa Students Forum, led by Alfred Solomon.

Others are, Northern Emancipation Network, led by Abdul-azeez Suleiman; Northern Youth Vanguard, led by Joshua Viashman; Northern Youth Stakeholders Forum, led by Mohammad Mohammad; North-East Assembly, led by Mohammed Tasiupantami; and North Central People’s Front, led by Nathaniel Ajegenaadigizi.

Concerned by the outrage that greeted the declaration, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, and the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, ordered the arrest of the signatories to the declaration, but none of the youths has been apprehended as of Saturday.

The tension generated by the declaration of the northern youths worsened on Friday afternoon, when a prominent member of the Northern Elders’ Forum, and former Ahmadu Bello University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, threw his weight behind the coalition.

The group of northern elders also expressed “disappointment” with the Northern Governors’ Forum for disowning the coalition, insisting that it was hypocritical for the Igbo to continue to live in other parts of the country while agitating for Nigeria’s breakup.

Speaking with one of our correspondents, the Eze Ndigbo of Kano, Boniface Ibekwe, said the over three million Igbo indigenes in Kano would not leave the city with all their investments acquired over several decades.

He said, “We have advised our people to remain calm and that nobody should travel. The lives and property Igbo are secure. As far as I am concerned, no Igbo man has relocated with his family to the East. We are here and going about our normal business. The northern groups fanning the embers of war have never experienced the pains and after-effects of war because, if they had, they would always pray for the sustenance of peace, unity and stability.’’

Also, the Eze Ndigbo of Kaduna, Igwe Sylvanus Aneke, told one of our correspondents that his people were not afraid of the plans of the Arewa youths, especially when the Federal Government had stepped into the matter.

He said, “The youths have asked us to leave, but their parents, the police, the state government and the Federal Government have asked us to ignore the threat. We will rather listen to the elders and the government.

“Ango Abdullahi merely expressed his opinion. We are not taking him seriously because we are used to his antics. We are watching the events for now. We will take our decisions after we have watched, prayed and discovered that nothing has changed.”

The President General of the Igbo Community Welfare Association in Kaduna State, Chris Nnoli, also urged Igbo in the North to stay still.

He said, “It (the ultimatum) is a serious issue that should naturally be taken seriously. We are concerned, but since the Kaduna State Government has assured us of safety, we want to hold on to this assurance. I am greatly worried that up till this moment, nobody has been apprehended over the issue. We are watching events and we believe that government will intensify action and get the youths arrested. It is when we have seen that the government and the IG’s assurances are not effective that we will start to think of other means of seeking protection.”

The Eze Igbo III, Jos South in Plateau State, Lawrence Onwudinjo, who is also the President, Igbo Cultural Association, said no Igbo person would leave the North on account of any threat from any northern youth.

He said, “Igbo people in Plateau State are going nowhere. There is no right-thinking human being that will ask people to leave where they are living. This is one Nigeria where we are living. Nigeria belongs to all of us. I believe that if any part of the country needs anything, they should sit down together to discuss it. Everybody should come to a roundtable to discuss it.”

Another Igbo leader in Lantang, James Abraham, said no Igbo would relocate and that if they would have to move, northerners in the South-East should be waiting for their quit notice too.

He said, “If the Arewa youths tell us to leave the North, their kinsmen in the South-East should also be ready to leave. Do the Arewa youths have representatives in Plateau State? They should not be taken seriously.”

The President General of the Igbo community in Sokoto, Onyebuchi Uwaga, told SUNDAY PUNCH that, following the assurance from the government and the police, no Igbo would leave the North.

Also, the Ezeigbo I of Nasarawa State, Nathaniel Nduba, in calling for the immediate arrest of the Arewa youths in the interest of peace, pointed out that no Igbo person would leave the region, despite the threat given by the northern coalition.

A yam seller in Nasarawa, Mrs. Amaka Chukwudi, also said, “The threat by the AYCF was an empty threat. They forget that they have their brothers and sisters spread across other states. Has anybody asked them to leave? Why should the northerners give such an ultimatum?”

Igbo in Bauchi State, in reaction to the ultimatum, also stated that they would not leave the North.

One of them, Joshua Chukwu, said, ‘’For me, I will not take laws into my hands but will remain law-abiding, as the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria guarantees everyone, irrespective of tribe or origin, the right to reside in whatever part of the country he deems fit to pursue his legitimate business.”

Similarly, Igbo in Niger State told SUNDAY PUNCH that they would ignore the threat and carry on with their legitimate activities without exercising any fear.

A businessman, Tochukwu Chikwem, said he had no plans to send his family back to the East.

Another Igbo man in Minna, Felix Irojiogu, said, “They are seeking recognition or attention which they don’t deserve. They are wasting their time; government should arrest them for trying to cause problem in the country.”

In Katsina State, the mood of defiance was also noticed when a businessman, Jude Eze, said, “How can I listen to the rantings of those rascals? You should know they don’t know the consequences of what they are saying. It took our leaders and elders years of sweat, and some even paid with their lives, to get Nigeria to this stage and some boys who have never gone beyond their villages are saying we should pack our belongings and go. We are not going anywhere.”

Meanwhile, Katsina State Governor, Aminu Masari, has assured non-indigenes in the state of their safety.

But in Sokoto State, some Igbo men have made up their minds to leave, stressing that anyone who ignores the Arewa youths’ threat would do so at his peril.

One of them, Uchendu Sunday, a father of three, who operates a patent medicine store at Mabera, in Sokoto, said, “I grew up in Kano. Sadly, my elder brother was killed there during a violent demonstration against the United States of America, when Osama bin Laden was declared wanted in 2001, after the bombing of the World Trade Centre.

“It was this sad memory that haunted me out of Kano to Sokoto. This is why I have decided to end my sojourn in the North and return to the East with my wife and three children. One thing I can assure you is that there will be an exodus of Igbo from the North, based on this ultimatum.”

In the East, various groups and associations said they had no intention of issuing a similar ultimatum to northerners living among them.

Speaking for Igbo youths, the President of Ohanaeze Youth Council, the youth wing of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said, “We will not ask northerners to leave. We will continue to show them love, as Igbo have done in the past.”

Reacting to the ultimatum, the leader of the northern community in Enugu State, Sarkin Hausawa, Idris Ado Suleiman, stated that they exercised no fear of any tit-for-tat response by their eastern hosts.

Suleiman said, “We have heard about the ultimatum. They said Igbo in the North should leave in three months. But we know it is not something that is possible.”

Osinbajo sues for peace

Acting President Prof Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday called on the various ethnic groups in Nigeria to live in peace, saying that in any marriage, there was tendency for disagreement.

Osinbajo spoke at the wedding of the daughter of the founding National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Chief Bisi Akande, Wuraola, and Dr. Olawale Solabi in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

The Acting President’s message came on the heels of an ultimatum issued by Arewa youth wings to Igbo people living in northern Nigeria.

Osinbajo said it was common for nations with different ethnic nationalities to experience quarrels among themselves like in any marriage.

According to him, agitations and quarrels can best be addressed when people give peace a chance and work in unity.

Osinbajo said, instead of fanning the embers of disagreement within ethnic groups, it would be better if understanding was allowed to prevail.

He said, “Marriage is a very large institution that requires a lot of prayers. It is the same marriage that nations go through. Our nation has been in marriage for a while now.

“Sometimes, there are quarrels within that marriage. Sometimes, there is disagreement. What is important is that you must remain together. You must remain united.”

Among dignitaries at the wedding ceremony were Senate President, Bukola Saraki, Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, Ogun State Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State; and Governor Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa State.

An ex-governor of Osun State, Olagunsoye Oyinlola and a former governor of Ekiti State, Segun Oni, were also present.

IPOB backs quit notice for Igbo

The Indigenous People of Biafra on Saturday supported the three-month quit notice served on the Igbo living in the northern part of the country by the Arewa youths.

IPOB, in a press statement made available to our correspondent in Awka by the group’s media and publicity secretary, Emma Powerful, commended the northern youths and Arewa Elders Forum for fast-tracking the Biafra exit with their pronouncements.

The group maintained that the quit notice had a human face, unlike the situation in the past, when the people perceived as Biafrans were attacked without any notice or provocation.

IPOB said it would prevail on Igbo living in the North to adhere to the quit notice.

The statement read, “Biafrans in general wish to thank these vocal northerners for at least having the courtesy to issue advance warning this time before embarking on their routine massacre of the Igbo and other Biafrans living in northern Nigeria; unlike what their fathers did in 1966.

“We promise to adhere to your warning to leave northern Nigeria because a word is enough for the wise. Biafrans and other southerners should start packing their belongings to come down to the South.

“We also advise the northern youths and their elders to keep it up because all they have done is to exercise their right to free speech which is not a crime under any law known to man.

“We are therefore against those calling for the arrest of these Arewa youths and their elders.”

‘Nigeria can’t afford another civil war’

A former Nigerian Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Prof. Ibrahim Gambari, and a former Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, Justice Mustapha Akanbi (retd.), have warned against any attempt to break Nigeria.

They cautioned that such an act could lead to another civil war and warned that Nigeria cannot afford another civil war, leading to another wanton destruction of lives and property.

Gambari spoke during the fifth convocation of Kwara State University in Malete, Moro Local Government of Kwara State, while Akanbi spoke on the sidelines of a summit organised by Home and Street Kids Welfare Initiative in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

PANDEF seeks arrest of Arewa youths

The Pan Niger Delta Forum has condemned the ultimatum issued on the Igbo in the North by some Arewa youth groups.

It described the three-month quit notice as “an act of treason which portends great threat to the nation’s unity.”

PANDEF, led by Ijaw national leader, Chief Edwin Clark, said the group considered the statement by the Arewa youths as “too dangerous.”

The statement, signed by Dr. Alfred Mulade, called on northern state governments, elders, particularly the Arewa Consultative Assembly, in whose House the press conference was held, not only to condemn it but take concrete steps to reassure the Igbo of their safety in the region.

Igbo youths in North call for Ango’s arrest

The Ndigbo in the North, under the aegis of Northern Youth Council of Nigeria on Saturday demanded the arrest of Prof. Ango Abdullahi, the spokesman of the Northern Elders Forum.

Abdullahi had at a press conference on Friday backed the three-month ultimatum by a coalition of Northern group to the N’digbo in the region to vacate the place before October 1, 2017.

The group, at a press conference, by its spokesperson, Isa Abubakar, urged security operatives to immediately arrest the NEF spokesman, following what it described as his hate speech.

Why Urhobo can’t be part of Biafra — Urhobo leaders

Urhobo leaders, under the auspices of Urhobo Leaders of Thought, have condemned the proposed Biafra Republic map which included Urhobo as one its territory.

They maintained that Urhobo people did not share culture or customs with Igbo people in the southern part of the country.

ULT, in a statement by its Secretary-General, Mr Mumakai Unugha, on Saturday, also condemned the recent ultimatum issued to Igbo residents in the northern part of the country, describing it as reckless and provocative.

IYC asks FG to intervene in Arewa — Igbo conflict

The Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide has called on the Federal Government to show strong and purposeful leadership by stopping the building tension between the North and the Igbo .

IYC spokesman, Mr. Henry Iyalla, who spoke in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday, decried the manner in which government was handling the quit order given to Igbo people living in the North.

Iyalla explained that it was necessary for the Muhammadu Buhari-led government to arrest the situation at its preliminary stage and not when it must have escalated.

Are our Igbos and Nnamdi Kanu aware of this?

"That even the Eze Igbo Gburugburu himself, the late Ikemba Nnewi, Gen. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu was betrayed"

In 2003 PMB running under the banner of the ANPP picked an Igbo, Chuba Okadigbo as his running mate. The East voted PDP.
In 2007, PMB picked another Igbo, Edwin Ume-Ezeoke. The East voted PDP.

He later picked a Yoruba, Tunde Bakare in 2011. The Igbo voted PDP.

Then, in his fourth attempt in 2015, he chose another Yoruba, Yemi Osinbajo as running mate. The Igbo voted massively for PDP but PMB won!!! PDP had it's own strategy. They courted the West and North to get the vote and used sentiments to get votes from the East.

Politics being about numbers and alliances, PMB aligned with the SW and became president. And the Igbo said the Yoruba sold out by supporting the North when they (the Igbo) missed the numerous chances they had to align with the North.

We saw in the Last elections in 2015 that a candidate only needed strong votes from the North and votes from one other region to win the presidency.

If the East had gone with the North each time they had the chance to so do, we would have had an Igbo President before now based on our zoning system.

Even our "Biafra hero" the late Emeka Odimegwu-Ojukwu - "Ikemba Nnewi" - contested the Presidency and for Senate but my people voted against him throughout. They preferred instead, OBJ, YAR' ADUA & other candidates from other regions!!!

"TRUTH IS BITTER."

I wonder why people are saying that igbo don't want to go, we the igbo are willing to go and this is an opportunity we have been waiting for, those few brainwash igbos that invested all their sweat at the north are the ones that refused to go but if the northerners will allow everybody to be entitled to their properties , both igbo and hausa can retain their properties but need a visa or residential permit to stay, believe me all igbo will go , the reason why most of them fine it hard to go is because of their investment nothing more, so those saying we don't want to go please close your mouth and reason well, we don't want one nigeria and we can never be, I'm very sure one day nigeria will break up because the cracks are there already

A group of faceless clowns gathered in Kaduna and made what's an invitation to violence against a particular group. All because they are, as they called themselves, "youths" of the region - a political identity one is now ashamed to identify with. They did not represent me, and none of them has done something worthy of commendation even in their immediate environment to earn veneration.
And then came a more embarrassing joke by a group of senior citizens from the region: an endorsement of a dangerous call. I'm not exactly shocked by the position of Ango Abdullah and friends, they're already cornered to the museum of the nation, and must do everything to regain their dwindled relevance.
Both the signatories of the so-called Kaduna Declaration and elders of Ango Abdullahi's Forum represent the agency we must fight in building a sane society.
I've no respect for what the two groups advocate and I'll challenge them, and call them the evil they are. If you do not regard their advocacy as dangerous in a country this volatile, then you are a part of our problem.
Ango Abdullahi and friends are no longer the landlords of this house, you and I are - or so it should be. They have had their time and made a mess of the place we are not proud to call home.
Be ashamed of yourself if, despite your education and years lived, you see no wrong in amplifying or justifying violence against a group, regional or ethnic, religious or political......

Please I have a question that's been bothering me all this while .. if an Igbo man had been Nigerian president will they still clamour for Biafra ?

Because the last time I think odemegwu ojukwu tried contesting for Nigerian president ,, maybe he lost hope in Biafra or he reflected on everything and concluded anger , hatred and war shouldn't have been the solution . Igbo need to be diplomatic sometimes , in this part of the world things are different, to conquer your enemy you don't need to show him when you are going to attack, that is the true attribute of a wise man and not just chanting for violence like a wounded dog..

You can't conquer evil with evil always remember that
Just a question make anybody No abuse me abeg ooo.

What is it with all these back and forth?

"Igbos welcome Arewa quit notice"

"Igbos dare Arewa, we are going nowhere Ango Abdullahi should be arrested"

You want to be separated from the zoo so that you can develop at the speed of light, yet you don't want to leave the zoo.

The north is a parasite, yet the host doesn't want to be separated from the parasite, what kind of logic is that?

Igbos, pls be consistent, especially at this cross road.
You fail to realize something bro. There are Igbos and then the Igbos with their apex social group Ohaneze Ndigbo. They never agree. The bulk of IPOB is made up of lowclass youths while the Igbo elites mostly identify with Ohaneze.Igbos clamour for Biafra because they got nothing to lose whereas Ohaneze and the Igbo leaders and dispise it because it's counter productive.
That said, the north shouldn't underate the Igbos. This is a tribe with number and resources.A very powerful force to reckon with in this modern era when United.IPOB alone (a shadow of their might) has been a thorn so far even with their non violent approach let alone a united Igbo front backed by their billioniares from Nnewi down to Owerri and the millions all over the world.
If other regions are sick of the union, then it's time to disintegrate not issuing threats and ultimatums.

normally, i dont really like commenting on Biafra issues. I know the igbos have a right to leave Nigeria.I have several friends who are from the side.My issue with Nigerians is that mostly we do things without thinking of future and consequences in the future.Africans go to war without looking at the effect on their people and generations to come. The issue of Biafra is really complex and its not a thing that can be achieved over a day.Because a lot of issues must be cleared up.I dont blame the northerners too either because they are only fed up with constant shout of i want to leave Nigeria by IPOB.but if i would analyse what it means to be independent from Nigeria, you would agree with me that its not even a decision that can be taken within a year, talkless of 3 months. Here are my reasons:
1. Education: decisions concerning students from ipob youth schooling in Nigeria have to be taken, will they be happy to pay more since they would now be regarded as foreigners if they are no longer under Nigeria.does the ipob states have facilities to train all their youth and build universities that can accommodate them all.
2. Employment : can they employ everybody under their region since they cant be treated as citizens of Nigeria.Being Biafran, means they are foreigners and cant be guaranteed automatic right to employment in Nigerian
3. Pensioners: what happens to the several southerners who are working under the federal government and are under pension.leaving Nigeria without considering an reaching an agreement on them can be catastrophic.
4. assets of southerners in Nigeria: decisions on what happens to assets owned by southerners have to be agreed on.decisions on if they are to forfeit them or compensated must be taken.its is not a one year affair
I believe that a lot of folks don't really know what it involves and are just followers without using their intellects.I must say in the event of war,no country would like to accommodate Nigerian refugees.I stay abroad and i must say that Nigerians have a very bad reputation all over the world.Once you are Nigerians, people don't want to have anything to do with you.
The solution, i believe is a change of Name, the name Nigeria does not bring anything good again.i believe in a change of structure and administration of the country.it may be better if all regions control their resources and contribute a quota to the federal government.Nigeria is indeed very big and multi ethnic.Do you know that even within the governance of a state, some region still complain of marginization,an example is Lagos where some regions complain of being neglected in having governors ,another example is Rivers,Ondo and so many more.Soi believe nobody has exclusive right to governance and Nigeria belongs to nobody. It may be wrong for the north or any region to see the presidency as their birth right and all this things have to be discussed through a change of constitution and restructure.
If Nnamdi Kanu was half as logical as you are, things won't be this heated for the Igbos......not to mention his followers.

These northern ibos dey funny ooo
Then y did dey keep mute all this days?
They shud choose btw Biafra and Nigeria else the kaduna proclamation and declaration still stands.
Actually, some of them were initially saying that they were not in support of the restoration of Biafra. They decided to keep quiet and fall in line when it became clear that it was the popular position of the Igbo that they want their own ethnic homeland to be called Biafra. My personal view is that after the restoration of Biafra, some of these silent minority should be allowed to remain in Nigeria as Nigerians or to take up dual citizenship.

Was Nnamdi Cownu not aware of Igbos in the north when he was drumming for war?

This is what we are saying, they are hungry, you feed them, yet they have given you 90 days to pack your things and you are complaining. Why are you crying more than the bereaved?

I struck out the irrelevant part.

Based on the emboldened, the north has reacted to the agitation of the ibos since they are not satisfied with the union.

The quit notice can be judiciously used by the ibos who should have been waiting in the wings for such opportunity.

Simply write to EU, ECOWAS, UN and any other relevant body using the declaration as a very good reason why action should be expedited towards the disintegration rather than calling for arrest and be making some non existent claims.

All these stories aren't necessary. Go and check fed allocation b4 coming here to spew trash. We all know your problem is how to corner Niger delta Oil but notwithstanding, pack your things and get out, enough of the chest beating.

Of course we want to go and have never wanted to be part of Nigeria. Help us push for referendum if you are sincere. BTW it is not because of the Niger Delta oil. Infact it will be more better if they stay with you guys so that we can have out Ibo Nation. We also have oil in some parts of Ibo land. Actually last 2 years we found oil about the distance of 7 kilometers from my house. I guess we can find even more if we search. Beside some of this people you call Niger Delta are Ibos and answer ibo names and their town is in ibo language. Also we have common understanding and can exist together peacefully. But if they do not want to be part of us, it is fine and good

You see you got it all wrong. The biggest problem IPOB brought on itself is when they don't show respect to others. They insult the North calling them cows, Dullard, parasite and all that then they face the west and call them slaves, waste and all sort yet they are doing business in this places. People will get really angry for such gross disrespect , do you see the North insult anyone. Whether West or East. You know they don't show their anger with words but actions and it usually leads to carnage. IPOB should respect everyone, stop telling people you will buy their land, you control their economy. It would exasperate them. IPoB respect others, it would help others to understand your agitation. It is not jealousy, it is anger and irritation. Can't you see for the first time, they opposed their governors calling them cowards and hypocrites. Don't be deceived no one has been arrested. DSS was quick to arrest Apostle Sulaiman. The North is not in want of foot soilders. IPOB should thread softly. The international community will not help especially where they have started discovering oil all over. It was oil that made us attractive in the first place. What have they done in Congo, Libya other than supply more arms for the complete devastation of themselves.
