Rain Storm washed away another Highway bridge linking Southwest to Northern Nigeria at Gidan Mai in Mokwa LGA, Niger State. This is just coming after a heavy rain fall washed away the rail line and highway linking the Southwest with Northern Nigeria through Tatabu in Mokwa LGA, Niger State yesterday. The Commissioner of Information Hon. Jonathan T Vatsa, Commissioner for Works Hon Abdulmalik Chehe and the FRSC officials of Mokwa Command visited the site to see the extent of damage and take quick action. The Commissioner of Information Hon. Jonathan T Vatsa, declared state of emergency on all federal roads passing through Niger State, especially the bridges.
