Lets face it, very few are good in this squad. . .even fewer are WC material.

I think it is necessary to have an ex-player as a coach. I don't think Amodu has ever played competitive soccer, because he would have realized that you put your team at a disadvantage when you field unfit players. Does he think you can play soccer with a pot belly like his?

what are you talking about? Don't you have to chase a ball that was moved to you? Don't you have to chase your opponent and collect the ball in order to move the ball. If you are not fit and can't chase the ball, you give your team no opportunity to move the ball and you are too tired to chase the ball when it is being moved to you. Soccer is a game that rewards fitness. I played competitive soccer for 6 years. Fitness is key.

You can't stand around and expect the ball to move.

I don't disagree with you about fitness, but in this game giving the possession we have had, you would agree with me we have done less chasing because we had the ball more at hand. having the ball and having movement (means running and not just standing) and creativity would have given us the win in this game.
