The governors on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have asked the federal government to commence negotiations with all agitators in Nigeria. According to the governors, this would help bring to an end the continued agitations across major parts of the country.

According to The New Telegraph, the governors demanded that the Nigeria’s democratic processes must be improved upon for stability and sustainability in the polity. Quoting a statement from Salihu Moh Lukman, director-general of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), the governors said:

“While acknowledging that as a nation, we do have challenges, PGF believe that the resolution of those challenges rest with the development of our democracy and with it, the ascendency of structured processes of national consultations, negotiations and invariably agreements.

“As governors elected under APC, we will work with our party leaders, the federal government and all Nigerians who are committed to democratic development in all parts of the country to ensure unencumbered protection of lives of all citizens in every part of the territorial boundary of our nation.

“In line with the social democratic principles of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the PGF would promote all-inclusive government, for the development of policies and programs that improve the life of every Nigerian citizen, regardless of ethnicity and religious orientation.‎”

The APC governors, though condemned all agitations, said they are products of bad governance and weak system.

It should also be recalled that according to an article posted by Naij.com few days ago, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has declared that Bayelsa is not a south-south state but part of the south-east.

Most of the times I wonder why Nigeria usually fall my hand on the issue of diplomatic business.

This is exactly why they cannot exert their influence on the west Africa sub region. Despite their continued false belief on being the giant of Africa. They don't even have the character to resolve their internal dispute.

This is why all internal disputes are handled by military deployment. People read diplomacy as a course but are never invited or employed to handle such situations. I remembered how many ignorant fellows online celebrated the arrest on ND due to the poor advice our vegetable leader was given by inexperienced military who are usually invited by Nigeria to give advice on how to handle KANU. Their advice led to his popularity and grew the agitation. Nigeria has been wasting tax payers money on curtailing the agitation.

You blame the Igbos on online insults but you insulted them in 2015 for not voting your nepotic Buhari. Did they not vote Yaradua? Did they not vote Abiola? Did they not vote Obasanjo?
