It is so because Americans don't have a divisive daft and illiterate leaders we have in Nigeria who declared on CNN how to treat the 97% and 5% that voted for him,forgetting that the resources isn't gotten from the 97%.

Also,America offers all citizens equal rights and opportunities despite your state of origin,tribe and political affiliation.They don't neglect a particular region out of hatred,wickedness and sentiments.

Personally I don't think there is any hope for Nigeria to ever progress. let them take a chance at referendum, any region, area that wants to go? let them go. May God bless you and your generation, the internet have enlightened Nigerians in many ways, gave them jobs, enhanced businesses and billions more. Who will be Linda Ikeji without the internet? or any other blogger? konga? payporte? u can buy stuff from home without driving out, you can coordinate or run business in different countries from one country.
