Okpara Premier of the East Hosting a guest who mustnt see blood
You will also hear them saying that M.I. Okpala, the Premier of Eastern Region was not murdered because the Igbo coup executors in Enugu refused to touch him.

However in the biography of Shehu Musa Yaradua, Yaradua narrated the events of that night. Yaradua was a Lieutenant and he stated that he was practically in charge of the Enugu battalion that night.

He narrated that his commanding officer, Lt.Col Fajuyi was in Lagos. The 2nd in command, who was Major Akonobi, was according to Yaradua’floundering’.

He, Yaradua, was the one that received the signal from the Brigade command in Lagos. And he REFUSED to obey it. He said he refused to obey because he wanted to hear from the Brigade Commander directly, but they could not put him on.

He (Year Adua) also narrated that it was him that secured the Archbishop of Cyprus and his entourage, as well as the Premier of Eastern Region. Otherwise the Premier would have been murdered.

So much for the conspiracy theories that Igbo officers & men refused to murder M.I. Okpala because they are same tribe.
Or is distinguished Major Gen. Shehu Musa Yaradua, of blessed memory a liar?

All these desperate Ibo revisionism...

It is clear that not even facts provided by one of the most respected non Igbo military leaders in Nigeria will make you change your preconceived opinions on this matter.

The 1966 coup was a coup conducted by both Igbo and non Igbo military officers. Let facts rule you, not stubborn emotions.

Now respond rationally (not emotionally) to what General Year Ardua said about saving Michael Opkalla in the coup.

Why didn't aguiyi ironsi execute the coup plotters?

Besides that, most of the soldiers that participated in the 1966 coup later fought on the side of biafra during the Civil War . Even kaduna Nzeogwu that you guys claimed was more hausa than igbo, fought for Biafra..

You guys should quit all these attempts at trying to re-write history.. 1966 coup that killed both hausa and yoruba leaders was an igbo coup.. Period

So tell us if 95% of the killers were Ibos and 95% of those killed were non Ibos

Tell me if there was a coup now and 90% of the coupists were Hausa and they killed 4 Ibo senators including Ekweremadu, 3 Ibo governors Okorocha, Obaino and Umahi

Now they come to tell you it wasnt an ethnic cleansing

You can say anything you want, the result is there for everyone to see,

4 premiers, 2 non Ibos killed, 2 Ibos spared
2 executives, 1 non Ibo prime minister killed, The Ibo president spared
Top Military killed, Maimalari, Lagerma, Sodeinde, Ademulegun all killed but how many of the top Ibo military you told us dominated the army were killed?

If we agree Ibo were 70% of the army then, North 20%, Yoruba 5%, Minorities 5%

Of the 5% Yoruba they killed Ademulegun Daramola Oyegoke and Sodeinde, Of the 20% North they killed Maimaleri, Lagerma Pam, Kur Mohammed

So tell us how many of the 70% Ibo dominated army were killed

Below is the conversation between Jaja Wachukwu an Ibo minister and the coupists

None Ibo were brutally killed, Ibo politicians were protected

Wachuku: "What are you boys doing here?"
One of the soldiers: "Good morning, Sir. But haven't you

heard what is happening in the country?"
Wachuku: "Yes. I know you boys have taken over the Government."

Soldier: "Do not be afraid, Sir. We have come to protect you for being an honest Government Minister."

so you want them to kill both honest and dishonest ministers just so it will be termed "national cleansing", right?

So according to you and the coupist. Only the non Ibos were dishonest and all the Ibos were honest

4 premiers 2 non Ibos killed, 2 Ibos spared because they were honest
Prime minister killed, His deputy thats Ibo spared because he was honest
Top Military killed, Maimalari, Lagerma, Sodeinde, Ademulegun all killed but how many of the top Ibo military you told us dominated the army were killed?

The problem with you Ibos is that you think you are smart and everyone else is foolish

you are so smart : you automatically assumed that am igbo.

Let me ask you : don't you think that you and your tribe are "smarter" than the igbos?

You talked about ethnic cleansing and that was the basis of my question to you.

How then did smartness come into play?
Anyways, never mind.

Nough said.. I don't want to read more of your "smartness".
