When the council of elders agreed that the normal ritual of celebrating a new born baby(Achike and Evae's baby) in the compound should be suspended to mourn Papa Efe..
Achike had chipped in that Papa Efe should be mourned, they will celebrate when Mr Kingsley's baby arrives.

nothing is hidden in that compound and in that street. people have already known her relationship with the undertaker. And From the story, she has no immediate family she's answerable to and she wasn't connected to any church or denomination. All that is known is that she's a Christian and a strong one at that.
