70w idle power consumption for 5kva inverter is much. I sold my old 3kva Felicity transformer based inverter because of high idle power. My current 5kva inverter consume max idle power of 40w.
Please, how do you know your era pv is original and Canadian pv is fake?
Please, share your experience..... I'm using 9 pcs of 450w era pv too.

The terminals design on the Canadian Solar panels didn't match that from the Canadian website for same stated model. The frame was also resprayed and the name plate sticking was not neatly done while the Era checked all boxes.

All panels will be replaced next week with JA SOLAR 455w bifacial.

You are blessed. That low state consumption is high for a 5kva. What someone said about growatts some pages ago having high idle load consumption might be true.

Before you migrate to lithium, make sure that your inverter/ charge controller can charge lithium adequately

some inverters/controller won't stop charging till the battery gets to a certain voltage other than the the user programmed voltage thereby in some cases overcharging the lithium battery

I know the feelings, have been there few years back. The performance of a lithium back power system always wow me and I can remember how I kept sharing my amazement a few years ago on this thread.

Attached is a lithium system of just 625AH taking in over 6kw.... To try that in lead acid and stay within spec you will need a room full of batteries.
