2016v2017: Have your ancestors ever prevailed in a battle against the Yoruba? There are so many Black Scorpions lurking around in the SW, they may be provoked to unleash mayhem on your people once again, ala Benjamin Adekunle. Perhaps, your folks skipped that part of the war stories they fed you? The only meaningful attack the Biafran forces mounted all through the 30-month civil war was led by a Yoruba man in person of Victor Banjo, even your cheap foreign mercenaries were fvvcked by this same Adekunle guy. We know you well, empty chest-beating is your lot...that was how your folks invited attacks on their heads back in 1966. We have not forgotten how your 'brave' Ojukwu fled, dressed in funny attires and left the foolish helpless, hapless, misguided Biafrans to suffer the consequences of his failure and cowardice. We know you very well, always quick to start trouble which you would always turn around to cry "victimization" when you see superior firepower. Noisiness is completely distinct from bravery. Go to school of life to learn, bruh. 3 Likes |

SolidGenius: SS & Middle Belt have clearly disowned you folks. Is it now hard for you to understand that Yoruba would naturally follow suit? Mumu, descendant of the 'very brave Ojukwu' who fled with his 'brave' tail between his legs and left his foolish, hapless and misguided tribesmen to die in a disaster he started. Please don't be a fool twice, learn from the misadventure of you 'brave' fleeing COWARDLY warLORD. Learnt his bride was fvvvcked by a guy named FvvvFKer even whilst his mumu man(COWARDHOOD)hood lived. 3 Likes |

PrickGetSize:Ehn, what is all this? Whose ancestors did I curse, and when were the curses issued? List them out in chapter and verse, o! It is sad that you have chosen to hide behind a strange moniker, to spew such falsehood. You slept, woke up and decided to play the victim, not so? Then you jumped to the lame conclusion that Laudate was a 'chronic tribal bigot.' In what sense, please? Is it because I refused to join your trail of propaganda & falsehood? Ok, no problem. Now, how come you did not list the revisionists and rabid tribal bigots, from your own ethnic group? Or you suffered temporary amnesia, when it got to their turn? By the way, what was your name in your former life, you chameleon with multiple identities? Anyway, thank you so very much, for finally letting us know that you are nothing, but a 'yellow-eyed coward and loser.' Daalu zi! This description fits you perfectly! Don't you agree? 3 Likes |

“Kanu does not have monopoly of violence as efforts are been made at dousing rising temper of over 25million Yoruba Youths who are not happy with the war like attitude of kanu and his men Why can't this 25million Yoruba youth ask the senate to declare the president who has been on sick bed for 2yrs as unfit ? Or mobilized for the implementation of the last confab., or support the much publicised agitation for true federalism? You're all political stooges who mean no good for this country. SoldierBoy1:omo iya mi.. It shall be well with you. May your days be long These guys think we really care about their about their self determination?? There are over 200 tribes in Nigeria and each time anybody oppose their views, they label them yorubas.. If they are really sincere with themselves, they should look inwards amongst themselves because not all of them want this so called biafra. If they were all in full support of secession, i tell you, no force would be able to stop them. There is no unity among them but that is not my business. If the Yorubas want restructuring TODAY, they will get it! And it has already begun. It's all about unity and sense of purpose which the igbos really lacked. But instead of sitting themselves down to unite for a course, they'll rather come online to insult people who does not share the same opinion as theirs. There's a thread on frontpage sometimes ago when Ohanaeze asked the igbos to leave the north before September 1..but guess what?? They are all shouting they won't go anywhere. You can see those same set of people on this thread throwing insults upandan but they ain't ready to leave. 4 Likes |

From my archive. Memory Lane. DOUBLE STANDARD 101: By Charles Ogbu. An average Nigerian 'Facebooker' will do just about anything to save a victim of an abusive relationship from his/her abusive partner. If a married woman complain of any form of domestic violence from her husband, chances are that the first advice she will get from a Nigerian 'facebooker' is to leave the violent husband. "You wan die?, you dey wait make im kill you?, you no go run with your life, why you mumu like this nah? Man dey use you learn boxing and you still dey there dey ask weda make you leave am?" These are some of the rhetorical questions they would bombard the woman with. It matters not whether the marriage has produced kids. The fact that the woman legally entered into the said marriage and may have even sworn to stick with the man till death do them apart is irrelevant here. This Nigerian 'Facebooker' has enough common sense to realize that the right to life of the human person is the most important of all rights and must be protected at all cost. He is equally not unaware of the fact that once a man's right to life is threatened, such a man is at liberty to do anything......anything at all...to safeguard it. He is also cognizant of the fact that for a duly constituted marriage to be dissolved, all it requires is for one of the partners....just one....to express dissatisfaction. Marriage vow be damned!! These all important facts are not lost on him. Note, I completely share the views of this 'Nigerian Facebooker'. Now, here is the twist: When this same average Nigerian facebooker hears that the Igbos want to leave Nigeria because they believe they are being abused and their right to life constantly being compromised by both state and non state actors represented by the security agencies and the Fulani herdsmen respectively, the first thing you will hear from him is: "we are better off as one country ooo. Why they wan break up the country nah?. Why dem dey ask for Biafra sef?" This is the same person who was ready to do anything to save an innocent woman from her abusive partner few minutes ago. Meanwhile, this person acknowledges that the Igbos are actually being killed by the security agents and their Fulani herdsmen brethren and treated like inferior beings by the government. He is equally aware that neither the govt nor the security agencies are willing to change their hostile approach towards the Igbos. He knows all these, yet, he will go to any length including standing the law of natural justice on its head and even quoting non-existing laws in his desperate bid to make you see reason why the Igbos must remain in Nigeria no matter what. Note: in the case of the married woman being abused by her husband, she legally entered into the marriage with her two 'kolokolo' eyes and may have even vowed to remain in it till death. But because this our 'average Nigerian' understands the sanctity of life, he would advice this woman to leave the abusive marriage for her own safety. In the case of the Igbos, they never bargained for this. They didn't enter into any form of agreement to be in this union. They were forcefully joined together. Yet, this our average Nigerian would want them to remain even when he knows that the abusive partner in this fake union has shown no sign of putting his violent demon in check. Why are we like this 1 Like 1 Share |

This is a political game mastermind by Arewa led Yerima belive it or not cold war is ongoing in Aso Rock for power tussle between the North & West. Each region are trying to have the East on their side that is why most of Western elite have been showing sympathy to the Biafran struggle recently u should recall Yerima saying that the West want to should them the Northerners that they understand Nigerian politics more than them that they will be up for a suprise. The West understand that to repel whatever game plan the North is planing for Aso Rock power tussle that they need a strong ally like the East ( remember GEJ case as Vp). Tinubu & co are playing underground politics waiting for the right time to explode but they need back up they are using FFK & Fayose to mend their fences with the East & its working gradually remember Nnamdi Kanu on one of his recent interview saying that the West have change for good. You dont expect the North to keep quite they are also applying their own strategy by sponsoring some Yoruba youths to attack Nnamdi Kanu coz they no that the East will react more quickly & expect more media attack in the coming weeks or even months Dont let anybody deceive u cold war is going on only the smartest will come out victorious at the end. |

Yet another faceless, obscure group of "Yoruba Youths" steps forward to make some provocative statement or other, and automatically so many tribalistic idiots on here take this "youth" group nobody has ever heard of, with no membership count worth noticing, as representative of the opinion of every single one of more than 40 million Yorubas! How do we even know that this group exists, or that its supposed spokesman is even Yoruba? How hard is it for anybody to step forward and call himself some made up name (e.g. "Chike Adebayo DanFulani" ), claim to be the spokesman for "ABC Youths", and then make some nonsensical claim or other calculated to grab attention for the lazy "journalists" who uncritically circulate it? All the vitriolic insults that have been poured out on here in response to this probably imaginary "Yoruba Youth Group" only go to show how many IPOB supporters are so full of tribalistic hate that they will gladly seize on the silliest excuse to pour out their venom without restraint. The reality is that I, speaking as a Yoruba person, don't know any real, breathing Yoruba people who would deny Igbos or anyone else their right to self-determination, and the only time I ever hear of such groups is online, as none of them have ever contacted me or anyone I know to ask our opinion. If Nnamdi Kanu can repeatedly draw crowds of hundreds of thousands, and yet can't presume to speak for every Igbo person without seeing the outcome of a referendum, by what right does some unknown "group" no one has never heard of before get to speak for all Yoruba people? If all of you dishing out insults to Yorubas on here are honest with yourselves, you'll admit that you're operating a blatant double standard, which just happens to suit you because it provides an excuse for you to express yourselves like vicious savages. 7 Likes |

goldenarrow: And what has all your rubbish above done for Yoruba? Did it make Abiola president? Did it make the beggar Gen Diya President? Is it allowing Osinbajo to be President? Did it transform the former slave coast called Oduduwa a world class region with modern hospitals, airports, etc., or still brown roofed shanty towns? Adekunle fighting and killing a rag tag army of students and farmers when he has weapons supplied to him by his colonial masters (England) is no accomplishment, as the guy withered into a crack head later in life, while Ojukwu is heralded by all Africans as a man of the people. And you, there on nairaland what and what have you proposed for your region? More Owambe? More chics? The truth is when the Nigger Area falls Oduduwa will be begging for Visa to be part of Arewa 2 Likes |
