I stumbled upon this thread today and i was left struck with the level of illiteracy in the north and out of school children on the streets roaming about begging for alms.

The number of out of school children in the North numbers up to ten million which means in twelve years time we will have to deal with a more deadly sect than boko haram and Fulani herdsmen

How many Foundations can we point out in the North to help in building schools or sending those almajiri back to class? Just a margin of 8% while the foundations to propagate islam and entrench wahabbism is more than 80%.

This is why Bauchi state may soon begin the allocation of 700-900 thousand naira to about 200 graduates to go back to Agriculture due to unemployment.

Haven't put too much thought into educational policy in Nigeria. The best thing I can see these states doing is figuring out how to tax revenue to fund education. Local government and state government cooperate on this initiative.

Dont worry about Dangote. He is good either way. He's diversified north south and internationally. Boko haram is partly the economy which good policy would solve.
