I don't expect you to list every single field I just expected there to be slightly more, plus you were even incorrect about one of them....

Historical inequalities - (the antiquity references are relevant though, why would I stop making them when they are a major part of what influenced the gap between men and women, women have it better now but they didn't have the start that men had all those years ago, women not having equal footing is part of the reason they're as underrepresented as they are in certain fields, history affects our current world so it doesn't make much sense not to reference it)

There were some women in the fields of software engineering and chess, yes but this doesn't change the fact that women accounted for a smaller proportion of those employed in these fields. Not because it's been proven that women aren't as logically capable, but because the majority of women didn't have the opportunity the way men did, neither were they brought up to appreciate it the way men did.

Your point was the fact that men dominate 'logical' professions shows that men are more logical which ignores a whole bunch of factors and is an oversimplification. My point is that this is not solely down to innate ability because there are other factors that influence that fact that males dominate these professions.

Surely the sample is a list of people who were documented because they were given the opportunity to showcase themselves, not that they were divinely picked by God himself, it's about opportunity. If X and Y were as good as each other but X had been given more encouragement and opportunities than Y, obviously X will have more chance than Y of being represented in the list, not necessarily because X is better than Y, but because Y didn’t get the same opportunities as X to showcase itself and be put in the forefront, hope that analogy helped

No matter how many Adas were given an opportunity, there'd be 5 times more men that had it too. Any link for this top algorists list? Genuinely can’t find it. And like I keep saying, the group that is more represented will obviously have more options to choose from thus more representatives. E.g. there are more females in ballet than men, obviously lists of ‘top’ ballet artists are more likely to be dominated by females since there are more of them, it doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re better than men. Same with your chess example, just an analogy.

Yes, it is about numbers, when you have a larger sample size to choose from, you will more ’top’ people to pick from, this is basic statistics and to deny this really doesn't help your whole superior logic/reasoning matter lool
