Rev. Father Patrick Henry Edet resigns as a catholic priest. He made this statement on Planet 101.1FM, Uyo a while ago. "From today henceforth, I cease to be a Catholic Priest, in my spirit and in my soul. I forgive those who will criticize me, I live for God. I seek freedom for my soul. As I leave, I leave smiling I AM SO HAPPY THAT I AM FREE" - He said. The Priest now prefers to be called "Reverend" or "Father". this priest just told himself the truth... being so honest with his heart and truly knows he cannot withstand the temptations he is passing through. let him show other priests who wish to resign but are afraid of what will be said about it how it's been done. |
