We didn't the economy began collapsing in 2014 QED
Collapsing hmmm. Recession is a sustained shrinkage over 2 quarters Q/Q not some random or yoyo contraction. Hope that helps you. We entered recession in 2016.

No you still don't get it and you obviously won't get it anytime soon. Nigeria's recession began in 2014 due to the mismanagement by a man you love and worship

An economy either is in recession officially by contracting in 2 consecutive quarters or it is not. Nothing like it started in xyz. At no time in 2014 did we have a two consecutive contraction in GDP. Stop being emotional and looking to blame the man you love to hate. We entered recession in 2016 under your demigod.

The recession is neither the fault of Jonathan or Buhari. There is nothing anyone of them could have done about the sharp fall in the price of oil in the international market.

I am very sure when PMB mulled the idea of selling off the countries assets to meet Nigeria's infrastructural challenges you were among the people who shouted all sort of profanities.... Like it or hate it the PMB led administration has pulled Nigeria from the 2014 recession and economic catastrophe bequeathed by gej.

This is has nothing to do with Buhari infact it has all to do with his absence..Kudos to Yemi Osinbanjo

So what finger did the brain dead Buhari raise ..Just 90 days of Buharis absence and the absence of his dull thought process we are beginning to see some stability..

All thanks to the SW and SS.

I don't know how/what North and SE contributes to our economy. Awon parasites.

If they are parasites, why are you always on Biafran threads fighting against the establishment of Biafra.?

Look. Nigeria is not a poor country. Our major reason for underdevelopment is corrupt and financial malpractices in the various seats of government- from LGs to FGN.

Recently, bailouts and Paris Club refunds were paid to the states but ended up the private accounts of politicians. It is high time sincere and honest men and women began to get into politics.

Our problem is not corruption but the structure that supports corruption

Go back to True Federalism.

We are borrowing money to pay salaries even as we chat!! By the way, nigeria has been borrowing money all the times we had budget deficits. Borrowing money is not recession it is deficit financing.

Recession is drop in productive/economic activities of an economy. It is a result of many things cumulative in a low confidence in the economy by levers of economic might!
Please expand your horizon.

Show me my post on Biafran threads fighting against your establishment. I want to see proofs.

They called you Ibos liars, now I'm begining to believe it.

I wholeheartedly support Biafra because I want Ibo parasites off my land.

Facts don't lie. However our economy is still small for it to be felt by the majority. A lot of work still need to be done . The economy would have to be ten times bigger before the majority can begin to feel it.

Let us please focus on how to move Nigeria forward from where we are right now.

Many people are not wishing Nigeria well after this piece of news. I wish to say here that only those who are focused in helping their country usually participate in its blessings.

You can be an American living in America and still be poor.
