Praise the Lord fam, today I want to share with the abstract fam a message I have titled “singleness, a gift from God”

I am neither a pastor nor a preacher of the word but I am confounded to share this word of wisdom with you because of the “wahala” I have seen and encountered in this dangerous streets called dating and relationship.

I will start my message by saying something quite controversial, “YOUR RELATIONSHIP OR MARRIAGE IS ONLY AS GOOD AS YOUR SINGLENESS”. The degree of success you will have in your marriage is proportional to the degree of success you have as a single person.

No miracle happens at the altar. Most people think marriage is the answer, they think marriage can solve all their problems so they rush into it just for the glam of being called married. If you are a liar before marriage you will be one after the wedding, if you take a stinky feet to the alter you are getting stinky feet as a partner for life, if you are stingy before marriage you will be stingy after the wedding, nothing miraculous happens at the altar; just words backed with faith and a promise made before man and God.

Fam we need to stop hating our single statues, we need to stop making it look like a single person is missing out or not living fully. It is better to be happily single than to be in a wretched relationship. Let me ask you this question
“IF YOU KNEW YOU AS YOU KNOW YOU, WOULD YOU MARRY YOU”

Let that sink in for a bit….

If you knew yourself as you are, with your addiction to porn and lying disorder, with your stingy nature and bossy attitude would you want to live with someone like you for the rest of your life. Let us go deep into our selves and observe our lives. Let us work on ourselves as individuals…read books, go to seminars….check theabstracthoughts and be enlightened.

My mother once showed me a life lesson with eggs. She brought a crate of eggs and picked put six eggs. She broke five eggs in a bowl all were good and healthy then she brought this one egg which was bad and smelly. As soon as she broke the bad egg into the mix the entire bowl turned stink. She then turned to me and said “what did you learn form this”

Well the seven year old me was just annoyed that my fantasy of egg omelet for dinner was ruined but today when I think back on it a lot comes to mind. One bad egg can ruin all your good eggs. Don’t think you are so good you can change a bad person so you accommodate them for life, please fam don’t…its too cold outside to change anyone. Pick your eggs carefully; while single groom yourself to be the perfect egg. While people are looking for their better half you be the complete person.

It is never too late to change, being single is a very important stage, it is the learning and preparation stage do not waste it pining away for some brother or sister. Be industrious, chase your dreams, love God and be the very best version of yourself so that when that person comes into your life, they meet a standard and they have to meet up to it.

Well hope you are blessed by this word from the abstract pulpit
