Yesterday there were reports that the marriage of Ooni d’Ife from Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi to his wife Olori Wuraola crashed after only 17 months and we can tell you in an authoritarian way that this is true.

A few weeks ago, Ooni told his wife that he was no longer interested in marriage and asked him to leave. Former Olori moved from Osun State and now lives in Lagos.

So, what led to the breakdown of the marriage? Here is all that we know and this is authoritative.
Ooni married Olori Wuraola shortly after meeting him last year.

According to sources close to the separated couple, after he ascended the throne, a woman was needed at the earliest and he was introduced to Wuraola, who at the time was with a Lebanese businessman.

But immediately, the Ooni said he was interested in marrying her, she quickly dropped the Lebanese and went with the new Ooni.

“She was with this guy in February 2016, in fact she had her photo on her PD of Whatsapp and just the following month, in March she was married to the Ooni.” We were all surprised, Former Olori declared LIB exclusively.

“What is funny is: Ooni was advised not to marry him. According to another source, Olori Wuraola and Ooni did not run for a long time and did not really know each other before getting married.

And she went into marriage with great expectations of the new Ooni, but when these expectations were not met, she would have started acting up.

“They have had problems for several months now, but the Ooni finally got married to Wuraola who was nearing his end after his return from London in March.”

“In the meantime, he suspected that Olori was not 100% faithful to him after seeing text messages on his phone, so I’d like to be able to clarify what he saw.”

According to what we gathered, after Olori organized the march against domestic violence in Lagos in July, Ooni of Ife told some friends that his marriage with the Olori was over, but it was not about two weeks ago that he informed her family that he no longer wanted the marraige and asked Olori to leave.

LIB asked the source how they would have had marital problems as of March 2017 when the Ooni of Ife sent a love anniversary to the Olori in April.

The source laughed and said;

“He himself was surprised to see the message online on her birthday but did not react so as not to embarrass her.”
