The above post is For UNIBEN alone...A list was pasted in UNIBEN today....So I heard most people whose names appeared on the list had different issues. I guess their names were pasted so as people would be aware, and in turn, would rectify it.... I don't have any info regarding other schools.

From what I heard so far, Those whose names appear on the list have some issues that they have to correct.....And for those whose names are absent, they are safe, at least, for now..... So if your name isn't there, I guess you are safe for now

Sorry but which list is safe and which isn't? From the jamb site you just put up it states that only names on the matriculation list are recognized as bonafide students of their various institutions, and are eligible for NYSC.

That was the mistake you did, you should have tested it where you bought it, whether nepa light or not.

Fault might be from motherboard, the charging ic is not getting power supply to it or the smb_clk and smb_data is not communicating with the sio chip.

Before that, take it back to where you bought the ba3 and try another one, if after it still stuck at 50% with plugin in charging then see a laptop engineer.

Thanks for your reply, now the battery doesn't charge at all and was on 0 percent before i finally took it off, but still shows (plugged in, charging). In case its from the motherboard as you stated, what's the price range to get it fixed?

So try another battery... And another. If the issue persist then it's from the board.

Hello please i got a new battery for my laptop 3 days ago, although i haven't had power to charge it for 24 hours stretch, i have been using generator to charge. I finally decided to put it on and check the percentage yesterday and noticed it was on 50..charged all through last night,this time with NEPA light, and it's still on 50 percent. What could be the cause? The battery or charger?

And it shows (plugged in, charging)
