We all know that legislators only nominate projects in their constituency and that it is agencies in the executive branch that execute the projects (in this case the SDG office), but people won't respond to that guy because he has a habit of asking an endless series of questions. In fact, in many cases, he just repeats the same question even though you have already provided the answer.

Get ready to keep answering questions all night.

He's probably dyslexic. We won't get tired of teaching him, pending when his doctors will take over.

It's so sad. Legislators from the East are usually the worst performing. That's because they prefer sharing money than commissioning projects.

Legislators don't see money on projects. In fact, for every legislator that you see commissioning projects, his mates are probably looking at him like a Mugu..

Many Legislators don't do projects. They prefer to insert the project in the budget of the agency and then share the money with the agency. Such project would be marked as completed whereas, nothing is done.

Each Legislator has opportunity to submit projects which can improve the livelihood of his community. So, what is done is to submit the project and it is then allocated to the appropriate federal agency. The agency puts it in the budget and then execute it. The agency counts it as one of its achievements and the Legislator also states that he facilitated it.

What some Legislators do is that they insert projects but don't allow the agency to do it. They collect the money from contractors and their people suffer.

For the SDGs, she has a projects which promote SDGs. So, she sends the list to various MDAs as implementation agencies. In the alternative, she may not send a list. She just points out areas that will promote SDGs and those agencies implement projects in that sector.

How can you defund regulatory agencies whose role is to regulate professional bodies to achieve a sane environment within critical sectors of the economy.
Even developed countries have so many regulatory agencies which not only create jobs but also create effective improvement among the sectors being controlled by these professionals bodies.
Imagine saying health professional bodies will not be funded by the state and yet,the government will want to expert control on how the health sector will be run effectively.
