Politically, Ijaws are a more potent political force than Igbos. Since 1999, Ijaws have had a VP for 2 years and President for 6 years.
Look at Rivers state for instance. If Fubara were Igbo, do you think he would still have been Governor? Look at what Igbos saw in Oyigbo.
Igbos have greater numerical strength than Ijaws. Then, probably wealthier people per capita than Ijaws. We shouldn't forget that Ijaws are part of those feeding the country via oil and gas. Ijaws are more politically and economically important than Igbos. |

Deputy Governor want to contest. I don't know who they will support, but I know who they won't support. They won't support Jimoh Ibrahim and Ayedatiwa. |

Ilaje1: You be useless idiotic fool. So you expect him to work with enemies or saboteurs? Baba, Ayedatiwa will do his 11months and go. He won't get APC ticket. He should just finish Aketi's ticket and leave. He doesn't need to make more enemies than he already has. He will try to contest primaries and he will lose. He will decamp to another party and he will lose the election. As for Aketi's team, I have no pity for them. In his lifetime, they couldn't tell him the truth about his shortcomings in governance because they are hungry yes-boys. Ondo needs proper leaders with the welfare of the people at heart. Not these miscreants jumping everywhere. |

The Igbos there are not the most competent. It is just their turn to chop. When Fulani or Yoruba dey there, you say it is tribalism. When Igbo dey there, you say it is competence. You dey craze. |

why are u people feigning ignorance after supplying how many million barrels of crude to the refinery? The problem you have is that you like commenting on issues above your IQ level. Do you know that before the refinery was built, Dangote has been involved in this forex-roundtripping rubbish? Under GEJ, he did this same nonsense. Not only forex, he used to sell duty waivers issued by GEJ. |

Udopasa: The truth is, electioneering financing is the most expensive in the South East and that could be why we have more of transactional politicians here. Ibezi came to change the tide but the judiciary being a behemoth of democratized corruption edged him out and that saw the re-emergence of Chidoka who in his usual style, made nonsense of representation. We can only hope somebody else will raise the bar like Ibezi tried doing I disagree. Electioneering campaign in the East is the cheapest in the South. If you go to the SS, they spend good money on elections. Yet, they have solid representation with good projects. In the SW, outside Osun, Ogun and Ekiti, electioneering in the other states cost far more than the South East. Yet, they deliver very well. Even selling of slots, na SE slots them dey sell pass. It is unfortunate and unforgivable. |
