georgee:Yes they do and you can check the immigration site for more info.... You can come with family if you can afford it...... getting a job shouldn’t be a problem even though might take a few weeks.
But most people including myself would prefer to come here, get a job and a place for them to stay before bringing them...... all these can be done in less than 6 months... but I know of some Nigeria couples who came all at once and though was a bit rough in the beginning but they doing great now

Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by suxes2005(m): 2:37pm On Oct 14
It's not real.
NZ does not have 2 years working permit.
You should check their website for the kinds of work permits
available to Nigerians.

suxes2005:Well even though we all have our doubts, but I would love to say ‘Everybody is innocent until proven guilty ‘
So Lets believe all visa are genuine until proven otherwise.
When u receive your passport, a small piece of paper will come with it stating your application number and conditions of your visa if they haven’t change their procedures. Hopefully we can do something before you buy ur ticket.

Good Day Femi,
Our International Passport is visa free to New zealand for 90 days, should i travel alone first or i should travel with my family, what is the possibility of securing a job in 90 days, what is the cost of living, accomodation rent.
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by femijck(m): 10:16pm On Oct 14
Cost of living is high, some believe it’s even higher than Aussie. 3 bedroom apartment ranges between $450-700 NZD/ week.
About getting a job, I don’t know your skill or qualifications so I can’t give an answer to that but if you looking for just any job to get some cash, I believe you should get something within that time.
And also does your passport allow you to work or apply for a work permit while onshore,or you need a job offer first? Because except u have a skill that’s in high demand or shortage, you might not get a job offer within the 3 months
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by EKPETI(m): 4:58pm On Oct 15
i think it should be any of the these two numbers WP59617995 or 19910401601.
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by femijck(m): 6:43pm On Oct 15
EKPETI:in the last 3 years, I’ve had 4 different application numbers and none of these 2 looks familiar......you should have 2 different set of 8 digits number.
One is your ‘Application ‘ number and one is Client number.
With all these said, I will have to check some of my visas to see if I can find any of these number format u gave before trying to check with the INZ link for employer to check employees visa validity if I can still find the link in my archive.
Where did u get those numbers from..... looks like that might be your courier tracking numbers or something.

New Zealand actually have a 2 year working permit for citizens of certain countries.
But I don't think is available to Citizens of Nigeria.
It's very similar to the Australia Subclass 462 Visa.
A friend of mine who is a U.S. Citizen actually moved Temporarily to Queensland Australia using the same route.
I'm also looking into it as I plan to spend some time overseas.
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by femijck(m): 4:41am On Oct 16
LUCAS99:Also students who had graduated in NZ and got a one year post study work permit, can also be given a 2 year work permit after their one year runs out provided they have an employer willing to sponsor them or a skilled job. As they qualify for upto 3 years post study work visa. But that might change soon as the government is considering limiting the 3 years work permit to Students who had completed at least a 3 year degree program. While anything less than a degree gets 1 yr.
But at the moment, diploma graduates can still get the full 3 yrs
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by femijck(m): 5:02am On Oct 16
EKPETI:I have checked all the visas I have access to, ranging from visitor, work, residents, to PR and none of them have any set of numbers like yours.
The application number, client number and visa number of visas issued in the last 4 years are all 8digits numbers.
The 2 set of numbers that should be on your visa is your ‘client number’ on the left and visa number on the right
I will advise you not to buy any ticket yet.
I advise everybody on this thread not to use any agent for NZ visa. If u qualify, u will get it with proper guidance. DIY
If at most u need an agent, let them charge you for the paperwork. While u apply and courier it yourself with your email and address. communicate directly with immigration. Pay visa fee from your account and have them return your passport to u directly and not agent.
If your application is denied, INZ won’t stamp your passport but all these criminal travel agents don’t care about damaging your passport.
Except Licensed Immigration Adviser LIA. Which I’m not sure if there’s any in Nigeria.

Call NZ immigration on +6499144100
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by solin: 2:35am On Oct 17
You're doing a great job here. You're absolutely right with the analysis of using Nigerian agents. I have seen a fake nz visa shown to me by a friend and how do I know it was having a picture on it. Inz doesn't include once picture on the visa. I was able to know this through an instagram page of an immigration agent based in NZ of his recent work displayed on his page. Please let us be careful of using Nigerian agent many are out to cause further damage.
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by femijck(m): 4:02am On Oct 17
solin:I will advise u not to call INZ as that might complicate things more.
The first question they will ask is where did you apply and did you apply yourself?
Firstly if U have applied yourself, you won’t have any doubt about the authenticity of your visa. I believe the guy never apply, he may had just gone ahead with his evil plan.
But if he did apply and was denied and he decided to put a fake one on your passport, INZ still have all your details even though your application had been declined. At the end of most, if not all INZ application forms, there’s a column that ask if you had used an ‘adviser’ which also means ‘agent’ for your application.
But because this agent is not a licensed adviser, he would have definitely put ‘NO’. If this is the scenario, you might face a future ban for lying to INZ on your application form.
If u still have doubts, just go to the airport and watch any mature pathfinder staff if they can help you... but if u can still do something, do it now

Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by ICTBEYONDBORDER: 11:59pm On Oct 19
Please I have a conference to attend in New Zealand for December 13-16th sponsored by my organization. I had travelled in 2012 to Singapore for my first time but I lost my passport so I had to do another...now no evidence of travel history, can I apply for a visiting visa with this new virgin passport I got? Will it fly?
Thanks so much for you kind response
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by femijck(m): 12:39am On Oct 20
ICTBEYONDBORDER:Virgin passport or not, If you have a genuine reason to wanna visit, the right paper work and you meet the requirements for a bona fide visitor, you will get your visa and no law says you need a travel history to fly.
What you should be concerned about is the date of the conference which is probably less than 2 months to this time and you haven’t even apply.
How sure are you your application will be process within that time? with the present backlog with applications. Due to closure of some off shore visa processing centres.
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by ICTBEYONDBORDER: 10:38am On Oct 20
Thanks for this. Am thinking of submitting my application within the week. I have gathered all documentation together already. Based on your analysis, do I go ahead? Or I should forget about it ?
Re: 8 Things You Need To Know About New Zealand by femijck(m): 10:48am On Oct 20
