We now live in a world where dating a single person is as archaic as living a life in the Stone Age. Our relationships are now characterized with lies and cheatings simply because we have evolved to live a life that is just not too good for us. One of the greatest killers of relationships which a lot of people are guilty of is double dating. I guess it’s simply because we don’t want to put all our eggs into a single basket.
There are several reasons why people justify the fact why they double date but these facts can be summarized under three headings thus;
1. Lack of Contentment:
There is no difference between the body of Patience and Patricia or between the body of Peter or Paul, we are all alike. It is the same physique and builds up. A lot of people; guys and ladies alike want to eat their cakes and have it back. We now have unrealistic expectations from people we intend to or are going out with and we try to keep as many people who have a little bit of what we are looking for. Guys keep Patience since she is good in the kitchen and keep Patricia because she is good in za oza room. The ladies keep Paul because he has a fat bank account and Peter since he knows how to make them feel important and loved.

2. Lack of Taste:
Most double daters don’t have a taste. They don’t even know what they really want in life. They are high in hormonal rush and will chase after anything behind a wheel with a fat bank account (for ladies), or anything in skirts (for guys). They lack a taste and have not been able to properly define what they want.



3. Immaturity:
It takes more than love for a guy or a lady to stick to a single person. It takes maturity. The lady is like a nice piece of clothing in the market place and only the highest bidder takes it home but most ladies lack the needed maturity to keep themselves to a single guy. This is also the same for the guys.
