Rescinding the quit notice is not reason enough for FG to withhold judiciary action against the CNG, if the FG is fair in its fight against qny form of threat to national unity, the leadership of the said group ought to be in costudy by now. The claim that the media quoted them out of contest doesn't hold water in the sense that if that wasn't what they said, why then did they find it reasonable to withdraw the statement? 1 Like |

Whether is facebook, twitter, whatsapp instagram nairaland. The way most ipob or igbo are portraying the north as homicidal, murderers and every other derogatory words used to describe the northerners. U will know those are the ones that never left their hometowns or geopolitical zones. They only hype on what they re told, foolishly they believed. They've been taught to hate northerners from small. Their young one's or children may end up inheriting such grievances and hate for the children of the northerners. But the case of those igbos living in the north is different, cos they've been living there for years. There mind set is different, they've been neighbours friends to most northerners. We all have igbo friends here with us in the north we co-exist.hang out. So for those who vehemently believe and even saying igbos in the north will be harmed regardless of the quit notice in the north or it's withdrawal are either Shallow ,fools, uneducated despite their education ignorant bias for believing or even entertaining an iota of such thoughts 1 Like 1 Share |

Itzhak:Lol.. I wish my uncle who died in the North in the 90s could agree with you. Or my friend who lost everything in Kaduna around 2001 too and her youngest sibling. I don't disagree with you but I just wish these people and the thousands of others in their graves right now would. 2 Likes |

they were quoted out of context, yet they still re-covened to withdraw the quit notice, so what 're they withdrawing? govt always 've excuses not to do their duty, when it comes to some section of the country. the more reason those southerners living in the north, should relocate because if trouble start, you 've no impartial govt to protect you. 2 Likes |

Itzhak: It's not about the quit Notice.... Have you read that "Kaduna Declaration "? that document portray Xenophobia Tribal Discrimination Hate Genocide against people you said had been your loyal neighbors, who were guilty of any crime nor are accomplice to Kaduna Nzogwu coup nor Nnamdi Kanu rant. that Quit Notice successfully show those that had not been to North that these guys are murderers, blood suckers which is not generally truth... It's also trigger past pogrom history where Igbos (which were not privy to) were massacre because of action of some Political Soldiers and evil politicians. The North need to do more than this your talk to show they are civil, and not blood thirsty. 1 Like |

Kazim88: Leave those people... They have zero tolerance and they can't bear insults... Unfortunately South Nigeria eat insult day and night as meal.. Kanu only crime is "He Insulted Northerners"... only.. Their major anger with Southerners is also the Insult. but using violence and threat would not stop insult... It would only increase it. The best way to end insult... Is to show maturity, not violent. |

Itzhak: its not only igbos find out, most southerners even yorubas when they are posted to the core north for their NYSC will start scheming for redeployment for fear of their safety. remember the NYSC members killed in 2011 during the elections 4 Likes 1 Share |

Arewa youths claimed they were misquoted. My concern is that they said Igbos should leave before October 1 as if they were clamouring of how the money the get from trading their produce will be put in everyone's pocket? I can't believe what I'm reading. The FG can't arrest Arewa youths, but Buhari that returned to the country couple of days ago was quick at issuing orders to the military that are finance by tax payer money to deal with unarmed IPOB security. I think the privelledge enjoyed by the Northerners under the guise of UNITY (ONE NIGERIA) is long overdue. 1 Like |

If it were the Hausa-Fulani that asked for "biafra" it would have been over and done already by now. Just an ultimatum the UN is involved, are they the first group to issue ultimatum? But then, all the threats issued by radio Biafra counts for nothing? |
