The problem is that Nigerians don't even know that the government has the right to ask any citizen what they do for a living.

Since you want specifics, when did wearing Gucci become abuse of moral code? Are those Gucci more expensive or flamboyant than those Swiss brocade worn by children of Northern politicians. Buhari s daughter on several occasions have been spotted with more expensive cloths and shoes yet heaven did not fall.

Maybe there is one law for the ruling class and another for the masses.

We all saw the designers bags her husband gave to her on her wedding, yet we applauded even when it obvious that it is our oil money.

None of those moral vices you mentioned has anything to do with the law. Don't throw in some general societal norms and except us to agree that they are crime. They are not.
So far, Husspuppi has not committed any crime and what you consider morally wrong is different from what others think.

Stupid people. Is hushpuppi Nigeria problem. Why don't you tell Efcc to arrest all the politicians that steal daylight and used the money to buy houses, cars and sponsor olosho abroad. Mention one person that hushpuppi stole from.
The new governor of kogi state is building mansion up and down with public fund and you cannot tell Efcc to arrest him.
You people are just jobless.

The dude up there in that video makes complete sense, i personally have a problem with the way young people looks up to a person like Hushpuppy. The guy is a wrong idea of a role model, he has never for once mentioned what he does for a living, all he says is hustle hard theres a pay day for every husler, i for once know this is the anthem of most yahoo boys.

Nigerian youths, get a proper education, if u cant get one , then go learn a trade or get a skill and earn legitimate money, know that there is always a prize to pay if u decide to cut corners and make money through fraudulent means. you cant just live it right when u live on someone's sweat, never ..life will get back at you somehow if you do..this idea of get rich quick is the bane of this present generation, very very sad situation

if efcc invesigated dieziani and compelled her to forfeit her billions because she could not justify how she got them, the same should be done to huspuppi.

it's people like huspuppi that spend money lavishly that makes young people want to do anything to get money to lavish

First off, Mr Deji didn't say anything sensible, he was so loose. If you've not be accused, alleged, or involved in any sort of financial crime the EFCC has nothing to do with you. Mr deji talked about boys popping bottles in the club, he forgot that in that same club, you find oil and gas boys, real estate boys, engineers, lawyers, doctors, all works of life just catching there fun, the only problem mr Deji has is the money, so literally efcc should check all the accounts in the country and arrest whoever has 50mil in is account without proof of livelihood, over 3mil Nigerians have that amount in there account man, talk about hushpuppi, mr deji is just one of those that give instagram traffic by viewing hushpuppi's page, instagram pay that nigga do you even know lol, mr deji you are disturbed by the lavish and extravagant lifestyle of young men and you label it corruption, what a civilized country, hushpuppi doesn't know he is rich until someone sits down somewhere and start thinking of how hushpuppi made his money, pure shame on you Mr

They are making sense. When people spend extravagantly without any known source of income, EFCC or police should question such persons to ascertain the source of their income.

170million Nigerians and you wanna know the source of income of that guy spending extravagantly wow. It's natural for humans to feel like how did that guy make money but more you look the less you see bro. Make your own money and let people ask what do you do and you you take do am. Who no no no go know.

Yes they do, going by the tax code every citizen is mandated to report their income and it's source to the IRS , at the end of every calendar year, of which ill gotten wealth are usually detected and those involved charged to court.

On the other hand governments job is not to create jobs but to provide conducive environment for private sector to do their work (in a capitalist economy) which is to create job.

But Nigerian government is almost non functional.

In a sane society, law enforcement will be on hush puppy's ass wanting to make sure he paid his taxes, that's when he has to tell how he made money in the first place.

Hushpuppi is a menace to society and influencing our minors negatively. Any call for decency by our youths is not a bad one. Is anybody in doubt on how wizkid, Davido, Mikel obi, Floyd Mayweather make their money? Until recently when E money started making efforts to clean his money and appear legit, who could have claimed to know how Emoney and Hushpuppi make their money? It is no crime to make legit money, but it is against the rule of law and our societal moral code to spend money recklessly. It is called abuse of discretion in law and guilty of materialism in morality.
did ou just say it is against the rule of law to spend money recklessly?
why naija get bad belle like this na.
una go even go as far as bringing law into this.
so he shouldnt live the life he wants to live again abi.
what is reckless spending for a poor jealous negro like you might not be regarded as reckless spending to him.
