I'm getting married in June folks and I don't want to wear a white wedding dress. Im not a conventional kind of person so wearing white is out of the question.I need ideas and suggestions if that isn't too much to ask, about what to wear.I'm thinking about having a traditional wedding where I buy african fabrics for the bridal train and for myself and sew a wedding gown with it, what do the ladies think? what type of fabric will be good for that? any better ideas? I would really love it if you all chip in,

U cans till use ash or cream colour.

If ur wedding is traditional wedding then ur idea is ok. But if it a church wedding, use a sky blue chivon to sew a flowing gown. It will be good.

How abt green

Since you're not a conventional person, u nid not wear a gown at all, just put on a tank top, jeans and a 59Fifty Cap. Jst fooling around, you could wear Cream satin,

an unmarried woman is supposed to be a virgin and the reason for wearing white during the wedding to depict purity. but i think things have changed in modern times and true purity is in the heart, not in a dress, besides alot of people are trying other colours to add glamour to their day. if you want to use an acara for you gown, why not, at least we are Africans. and i dont think any pastor will stop you from getting married. blive me if you do it and its appealing to pipu, it cld be the new trend in weddings.

Wear potentially exquisite colours as well. . .  Like silver or gold or even violet
