A 26-year-old woman has been left with her mouth melted shut and half-blind after her estranged husband allegedly bathed her with acid. According to reports, the incident happened in the Tigray area of Ethiopia. On the fateful day, Atsede Nigussiem, was at home when she opened the door to find the man there. He allegedly launched an attack with a corrosive substance that destroyed one of her eyes and ate through the skin on her head and legs, leaving her in agony.
