Eventually, Nigeria became independent and Nigerians still celebrate this on the 1st of October every year.


Well, the same thing applies to Nnamdi Kanu. Just like Zik, Kanu is leading his group to agitate for the independence of the Igbo nation and the minorities who are comfortable with Igbos, to be indeoendent of Nigeria. The only difference is that Kanu is dealing with uncivilised Nigerians who unlike the British, think that holding people against their will is how things are done.
