I am an Igbo man (@ least by origin)
I am a Igbo, by Nairaland tribalistic standards.

But it would be silly of me not to note the questions you have raised. I really don't like to delve I to this Kanu issues, as I believe I can never be influenced by somebody I know isn't very intelligent.

How can you keep ur family in the UK, own a dual citizenship and claim you are Biafran?

I have heard Kanu speak and spew so much hatred , that I wonder if my brothers from the East are really hardhearted. Haba!!! When did we Igbos become such a hateful group?? We used to be peace loving people who could live & succeed anywhere and everywhere.

Who thought us to hate so much. I will not support Biafra, because it is founded on hate.

So bash me if you want. I am a Nigerian and that is just about it. I don't judge tribes or religions, I judge people as I meet them.

Come to think of it, I have met more evil Igbo people than any other tribe sef.

To my Yoruba brothers from the West, or Afonjas according to Nairaland tribalistic standards. Stop it!!!
Never allow yourselves to be roped into a ridiculous tangle spawn in hatred. You people have been very accommodating. Why feed hate with hate?

To my Hausa brothers from the North, (don't know what Nairaland calls you)...you people have enough problems/crisis to deal with. Let us join hands together and deal with BH and herdsman who are hell bent on destroying your reputation of being homely and honest people. You can't fight the Igbos away, because we are an essential part of you people.

We all compliment eachother. So let us learn to tolerate our differences and embrace our similarities.

Peace

.

Was there a case similar to Kanu's, where a freedom fighter had dual citizenship, i.e. holds passports of two independent countries. Would that not cause conflicts of interest and allegiance?
.
2. Can a true freedom fighter allow those he's leading prostrate and even lick his shoes? For those who'd defend this, does his culture allow prostration as a sign of respect?
.
3. Kanu said he was offered Biafra while in prison but he rejected it unless Benue and Rivers states were added to it. This he believed was to induce him to abandon the Biafra cause. But what sense does it make to reject what you and most people thought was your dream all along for something nearly impossible?
.
4. Kanu is in the habit if calling others unprintable names, but can it also be true, as those accusations are beginning to point back to him. I've read in many places where he's referred to as pig, fraud, gay, crazy etc.
.
5. Is he not suffering from hallucination and delusions to have believed that Buhari is still in London; that the Buhari we're seeing is one Jibrin from Sudan?
.
6. Was he also a club stripper, as alleged by some?
.
7. Is it true that Kanu has no known occupation? In his defence, some said he's a company owner in Britain. But some concerned Nigerian dug out that the said company was just a shield to cover Kanu from being referred to as a vagabond.
.
8. Where did Kanu get the money to establish his Radio Biafra, in a foreign country, when his company's networth in history is not more than £300? I am looking at the logistics and cost here, seeing that even the BBC and VOA do sometimes have reception issues in Nigeria.
.
9. He said his followers should destroy the country if rearrested. Is iPoB no more non-violent, and does he know the implications of this call to violence?
.
10. Is he a Christian, a Jew, an animist or an atheist?
.
11. Did iPOB and Kanu know that ND militants, Boko Haram, OPC, Shi'ites etc. problems started with confronting the security forces as his followers have started to do; and do these confrontations achieve any of the groups' goals?

//

You can thrash out these issues or even ask some more, if there's any, without any insults, please!

Tell your confused lunatic chief swine to build his shrine fast so you can go lick and chew on his shoes
And ur life has fared well since he's in detention. Blind patriotism makes you fools to see the truth and look away. Do you know an average educated Northerner has better opportunity and future prospect than you? Do you like how the system is skewed to their favour. Are you aware that Arewa Consultative group is currently raising concern about how North should retain power after Buhari? Are you happy with the status quo of the country? Igbos have been playing second fiddle since after the civil war with no hope of getting a slot at the Presidency, do you think such injustice wasn't enough to spark agitation from Kanu and IPOB? I have no time to waste educating you on salient issues bordering on Biafra agitation but what I know is that injustice will always breed hatred and division whether Kanu is executed or not.

Can you deny that these questions are being asked?

In your reasoning, how does the questions sound relevant to you?

Adult asking questions like those in the sandpits.

Well, ain't there some that are relevant, since all can't sound irrelevant?

Tell me about intelligence Mr. Kanu.

The strategy (intelligence) used in deceiving your leader, I thought, would have made you dump that word in your dustbin.

it's amazing how you think Kanu has brainwashed Igbo youths but elevate a Buhari who could barely pass his WAEC. It's really amazing how you Northerners analyse information. God surely created you people differently. grin

The difference is, I do not think Buhari will wilingly do something that'd harm me and Nigerians. But If you think the same about Nnamdi, who had even called for the murder of his Igbo tribesmen just because they don't agree with him, then it's fine with me.

As for Buhari's certificate, it's an issue to only those who want to believe what they want to believe. It is even laughable.

But it's in your stride and psyche. The mindset is we're all illiterates, according to most of you, so what's the need to prove otherwise to you.

It's An Insult To Claim Buhari Has No Certificate - Gen. Alani Akinrinade.

“… The most annoying one is the case about (Muhammadu) Buhari not having a Certificate. It is an insult to the Armed Forces, a terrible insult to the Armed Forces.

If they are so embedded in the system and they have lost their souls, then they can go ahead and join everybody else in castigating a General of Buhari’s calibre.

They are now talking about a School Certificate. By the time he joined the Army in those days, there were no cutting corners. It is later when these same Civilians took over from the Army that admission into it became
less transparent.

I can give you an instance. There was Course Five around 1964: if one did not have a School Certificate, one couldn’t apply to join the Army.

And I know up to 1963 when the last General Officer Commanding left Nigeria, there were no corners to be cut. There was no such thing. Everything was on merit.

And that was how it was till Buhari’s time. Buhari attended the Mons (Officer Cadet School in Aldershot in England) and the Staff College. I don’t want to think they have an idea what they teach in those places. And the rest of us pretend as if we don’t know what they do there.

You send a man to America for one and a half years in a Military School. Do they think he just went there to learn how to fire a rifle? No.

As I speak to you, I don’t know where my original Certificate is because we gave the original to the Military Board. They took it from us when we applied to join the Army. You give the original copy of credentials to the Board. They take it and keep it in your file, that’s what happened.

How many years ago?… 50 years. And Nigeria with our (poor) record keeping and filing things into an archive. If we have an archive at all; an archive inhabited by rats and cockroaches. I think it’s an insult. I take it as a personal insult”
