Why do you think he is the person we need. Is it because he is a newbreed politician? If so, then he is a political neophyte, only known in the academic and educated circles. Don't forget that the vast majority of the grassroot voters are largely uneducated, which means he is relatively unknown to those who hold the ace. This is beside the fact that he is unelectable. How does he intend to win over the voters in the North? Even his brethrens of the Igbo stock jettissioned him and opted for a more matured candidate (politically) in person of Orji Kalu. Where did he learn the ropes in politics? I think politicians learn the ropes of politics in the political arena not in the classroom.

Try and read this;

That corruption should be fought is a fact that cannot be overstated in a country like ours. We are all privy to the its debilitating effects on our country.

A thief should not tell that he is not a thief just because every other thief in the land has not been caught. We shouldn't listen to such corrupt politicians who are stealing our money and crying for sympathy from us. The issue is whether they are corrupt or not. Have they or haven't they really stolen money.

Therefore, if for the first time in our country, corruption is being fought, then it is highly commendable.

It does not also say that where there are observed lapses in the fight against corruption from the agencies saddled with such responsibility, that we should turn a blind eye. NO. That is why, I believe, the national assembly is trying to amend the EFCC act to make it autonomous, free of the executive arm. That is what any well meaning nigerian should be clamour and not to join in in castigating the EFCC.
