Christoph Waltz has won best supporting actor at the golden globes and BAFTAs. So for him winning at the Oscars didn't come as a big surprise to me.

It was a tough competition between "The Hurt Locker" and "Avatar" for the top prize. At the end, "The Hurt Locker" got it.

"The Hurt Locker" was the highest winner of the night with 6 awards followed by "Avatar" with 3 awards.

"District 9" not winning anything was predictable but kudos for it being nominated.
