Hoping this will not cause much controversies, but some sound reasoning wrt the above titled passage. I request explanation on the real meaning of "Do not call any one on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven" - Matt 23:9

Question : When we call our church GOs "Papa or Daddy", are we against this teaching of Christ?

I am sure the passage didn't refer to our biological parent contextually...

No cursing, but civility is expected in everyone's responses...

That verse is like saying do not call anyone on earth your God because there is only one God who is in heaven. Also, there is nothing wrong in calling our GOs Papa and Daddy because it is written, "Children, obey your PARENTS IN THE LORD, for this is right. Honor your father and mother” (which is the first commandment with a promise)...." Ephesians 6:1
