When some of you talk, I just wonder why you can't apply your business brain to other parts of your lives. Do you even know what it means to be a vice president?

Osinbajo is not a vice president, he is an errand boy.

A typically cowardly Afonja, descendant of Oduduwa The Lily-livered in the mould of his slave predecessors - Awolowo & Abiola.

Awolowo died of rat poison while Abiola died of tea poisoning.

Osinbajo might die of gworo poisoning.

The documents went to FEC and president which Baru letters said. Osinbajo confirned what extra do you want. The rest if FEC hasn't denied. If you read story it still needs details wait for them.

Ps: What balance are you talking about. He signed 680 billion in contracts. That's over the 25 billion.

Do you live up trees with monkeys? Or here with humans? What type of question are you asking at the bolden? N680 billion over $26 billion? Wetin pesin no go hear for here sef

seunmsg:

The part in bold is actually not correct. Memos for approval of contracts that falls within the threshold of FEC are presented by a member of FEC. That is why all MDAS have a supervising minister who presents such memos on their behalf. In the case of NNPC, their is a minister of state and the full minister who doubles as the president. The reasonable arrangement in this particular case should have been for the minister of state to present the memo to FEC on behalf of NNPC and not for the GMD to seek approval from the acting president. In any case, Osinbajo acted as the president and not as Minister of petroleum. He cannot inherit that portfolio in acting capacity even as an acting president.

Well they already said Osinbajo followed due process. They process didn't break procedure from what

Akande said Osinbajo approved the recommendations for the contracts as part of necessary actions to deal with the backlog of unpaid cash calls and incentivise investments.

He added that the approval was given after due diligence and adherence to established procedure.

He said Osinbajo approved the contract in his capacity as the Acting President when President Muhammadu Buhari was away on medical vacation.

However, the more they try, the more, it is evident that Buhari is a stickler to due process.

Baru, in his initial reaction maintained, that he Sought Presidential approvals before the contracts were awarded, and the then acting President just confirmed it...

This government is obviously confused. For how long will this stupidity in high places persist? May be in the next 19months...may be not...who knows. You can't single out a rational stateman in the political class.

Stop supporting something that is illegal. Seunmsg is right. This acceptance by Osinbajo is suspicious. Femi Falana already brought out extant laws disproving all Baru and NNPC claimed.

Your ignorance is the source of your frustration.

Learn to read and not be told about what the law says.

The NNPC and Public procurement Acts of parliament, are available every where!

I do not need Falana to know that no legal due process was breached.

That the law needs a review, cannot be the fault of Baru or Kachikwu.

It was never an issue from the beginning. Kachikwu's allegations were simply emotional but not based on facts and laws of the land.
I don't think he even refer to any law when peddling the allegations in his leaked letter however NNPC response was laced with exant laws to back up each of the steps they took. Only fools will ignore this for Kachikwu letter

Lying is a tough job, you have to keep updating your story.
Once you know the truth, it shall set you free.
Kachukwu spoke once, but NNPC is still trying to do damage control. That's a lot of work.

Do Vp as Ag. President have the constitutional power to appove such contract?.. the answer is YES. Was due diligence followed before approving the contract?..the answer is still YES. The only salient issue here is that Kachukwu as the minister of state and NNPC board chairman ought to have been carried along. But I still see no illegality here.

Which section of the constitution/BPP act gives the president/acting president powers to approve such contract on behalf of NNPC?

This seems more than one chance bro.
In fact, like TEN CHANCES altogether.
Everything has become 'dabarued'

I am forced to make comments.

But why? How big were the offences of Nigerians to have deserved these people in power from time immemorial? The offences must indeed be great.
There seems to be no slimmest of hope, anywhere.

Bow out...
